The dude that dropped these first 70 first seconds is a pure genius. You have all what s strange about aliens with the synth, dentist drill, reverberation, weird sounds, and you have that touch of human legacy with the electric guitar that will remind you of the Terrans... Perfect fit when you know what happened to Kerrigan.

The terror that the UED soldiers defending their overmind must feel, as they watch the zerg's fleet of guardians and devourers wipe their bases and approach closer and closer to them. Their great invasion falling to ash and the marines shaking in their boots as they know they've only got a few minutes left to live before the zerg reach them too. That's what this track makes me think of. It fits so well with To Slay the Beast and the terror and hopelessness the UED defenders must feel

It's been decades and still nobody faithfully managed to replicate that initial guitar wail in the beginning. I so much wanted it to hear it extended to the entire track of its own, but even though some guys tried, everybody just literally skipped it as if it was something distasteful, or difficult... ...or Ytube algorhytm is just plain crap in giving results of what one really wants to hear.
