@@ahmedayaz1744 Because pokemon booster boxes from first edition jungle (1999) were already gaining value before august 2000 when these sets were released. people just decided to keep them as investment. Jungle had only 62 cards in the set so it gained value fast, because it was easier to pull a gen 1 charizard worth hundreds back in the day, and probably worth thousands today.
