This vlog made me miss Switzerland so much, we also stayed in Zermatt and went to Gornegrat to see Matterhorn. We also experience the Glacier Express from Zermatt to Chur, on our way to Zurich. We definitely want to do it again but with the snow this time.

Fun fact, as Tobleron recently decided to move it's factories out of Switzerland, they cannot use the Matterhorn as the logo anymore. So the new logo you saw on your tobleron is now changed and doesn't look like the mountain anymore. A shame. It's actually owned by a US company now. =/

great video!! very helpful!! didn't know it was possible to go to zermatt on glacier express. i've been having a hard time trying to find infos about this route between milan and zermatt. where did you buy the tickets from brig to zermatt? how long before the ride? omg help 😂😭

thank you so much! glad you found it helpful. we bought tickets online a few days before. you can book the entire trip from milan to brig AND brig to zermatt online. Just make sure you reserve seats, especially for the glacier express.

Hi there! From what we recall, we departed mid-afternoon, possibly around 2 to 3 pm. It's possible the earlier tickets on the day you picked have been sold out ☹

Hi do u use eurail pass ? If no can u share me which train u book as im goin to zermatt from rome in 2024z

Hi! We did not use the Eurail Pass. For our trip from Italy to Zermatt, we took the SBB train from Milano Centrale Railway Station which then stopped at Brig, Switzerland. From Brig, we had to alight and switch to the Glacier Express, which is a different ticket. Hope this helps!

Hi, we traveled with a big group and everyone had full sized luggage. There's a luggage storage area on the train, but it's first come first serve, so best to get there early before the train arrives. If not, you might have to leave your bag in an unsecured spot close to exit and out of your line of sight.
