I have lived this song and the Simple Things album since I first heard it in 2002, working in a small denim shop in Toronto, seventeen years old, with my whole life ahead of me, but none of the damage, the depth, nor substance yet there. I've lived it through many downs, many moments of loneliness, many early mornings returning home from parties, many loves, many heartbreaks plus that one that never healed. Most songs can be traced to a person, a period in time, or some silly event, but this masterpiece is the only one that stayed with me and with me alone, playing like an extraordinary soundtrack to my ordinary life. Now over thirty years old, happily married with two beautiful children, all adult-like, I still put this on every now and then, its sounds blasting through my headphones, and it transports me back into my twenties, them turbulent years, when things seem so troublesome and in retrospect, were happiness itself.

Oh my dear God, this song is chill, sexy, uplifting and euphoric all at once. This is the sound of a Saturday afternoon when you're just chilling on your bed appreciating having a day off and thinking about all the good things in your life and the happy times yet to come. It's also the sound of a summer night when you're lying in the grass miles away from civilization and you can see the Milky Way shining in all its glory above you. Way cool artwork for this video. This music is the reason i started listen Zero 7. Never understood the same of the band when i listened in radio but one day i saw it in VH1. They made very very good albuns and introduced me to their singers, many very good: Tina Dico, Jose Gonzalez, Sophie Barker and my favourite, Sia Furler. She is now widely known but... she has been a reference for me since Zero 7.
