zero's discharge grants you and nearby allies damage immunity for 3s pretty much nullifieing the barbarossa 3s of damage reflect (tho i still love the damage boost effect idea if you cant get his own matrices)

actually, when you do the damage refection whilst you have a shield up, it doesn't actually do damage to the enemy. because you didn't take damage, the shield did, meaning no damage to reflect. its only damage taken to your hp that will be reflected. if anything, you want to be taking more damage during this so the enemy takes more themselves. I only know this because i've tried it myself.

really nice content, loved your matrices tips! always wondered if the frostbot one would be actually useful, but I guess the heal must be helpful when you combine it with Meryl's 1* heals. this team is one of my favorites and those 3 together become an absolute tank as you start to get those advancements. it's a plus when there is a good healer in your party and you play right, then you just feel invencible.

loved it gameplay wise less static running zero instead of nemesis in that team But i had problems keeping up 100% aggro and staying alive in raid runs without dedicated healers.

It's not a bad idea to go tank as F2P so you don't get one shotted by bosses. Your damage is gonna be far inferior to whales regardless so might as well let them do all the work.

In my experience as a tank, tanks are mostly needed for shield break especially when there's a dps that deals a huge amount that you won't be able to aggro the boss that much. Your shield break alone won't break the boss' shield and so that's usually not great when there's no other breakers. You can't aggro, you can't shield break and you'll deal less dmg than the dps and less heals than healers. What's the advantage of going for a tank role in that scenario? Granted that the scenario doesn't always happen but I just sometimes feel useless when it does happen.

Tanks have weapons that have taunts which bypass accumulated aggro i.e huma discharge or Ene A1 effect. I've been a solo tank main since launch and i haven't had issues maintaining aggro even when playing with random whales. The only time i get aggro issues is when the support or dps bring huma or Ene and spam their mechanics with no regard to what effects they are triggering.

@@christopherflores5405 I don't know. I didn't see the whale dps using a Huma or Ene while dealing dmg. It's like I use Huma's discharge and then my aggro will be gone a few second later. Maybe those whales you're with doesn't deal that much as you think that's why you can still have the aggro. Most whales in the team I'm in usually don't have a tank weapon since they usually use 2 attack weapons, 1 for attack and 1 for break and Nemesis or Tsubasa. But, you have a point. Other players just aren't that great, not just by trying to taunt enemies themselves but getting in the line of fire from bosses that can lead them to death since, I want to say that they're trying to take dmg for the mvp role. But who knows. Anyway, when that happens tanking feels irrelevant to those teammates.

As a tank ur dmg is small so play zero as a discharge weap, gain immu and shield buff for teamate, he summon 5 orb when using discharge, that will help ur skill get more shield and recover ur stamina - this good for meryl spinning

@@lagger2500 i just use my Huma, i can face tank the apophis raid ult with it. also, i use Ene as a secondary taunt and dmg mitigation. coupled with Huma's simulacrum trait which provides shield based on my HP and charges i accumulate whenever i get hit, i am pretty close to unkilable during raids. Huma's A6 is insane as it heals you based on a percentage of the dmg you received and it's pretty easy to setup.

That's not tank dude, and pretty much useless if you try to put him as tank, just be a support buffer that grants team mates healing, shield, immunity, and attack buff (at C5)

@@The_Rum even with fortitude resonance, the aggro won't come your way if you don't deal enough damage. That's still just a support role with phony tank resonance. Just another click bait, what you call a REAL tank is the one taking the aggro and let their team hit boss from behind, and the best one is still Huma or Ene
