Same day are nickel wings they are to cap Buying Power. Yes I only manage the short side

These are just wings you buy to cap your buying power for 0 DTE and there ends up being a massive move that has those 0 DTE longs go in the money and pay off very large

when you say nickel wings : on what kind of trades do u keep them?

I do them on all credit spreads. It means after a sell an option for a credit I buy a $0.05 long option as a vertical spread to define my Buying power

I got bit. Had to throw in the towel. Had large success for 14 trading days in a row (lucky timing) zero skill. Promptly gave it back

@ yeah, wasn’t for me. The thrill of making 10k in 2 weeks was too euphoric that it made me wanna chase easy money. I chased and did he market happily took it right back. The feeling after? 100% awful. I’d rather not feel that again and live somewhere in the middle of those two emotions loo
