And in the three months before Trump is sworn in, that is not really enough time to actually deliver everything the U S has pledged so far either. Trump can have his Republican lead Congress just shut down all aid to Ukraine (including "humanitarian" and emergency assistance) - in effect ending Ukraine's chances to outlast Russia and Putin. Trump has had 7 known phone conversations with Vladimir Vladimirovič - we have no idea what was "discussed" or "promised" during those calls - but we will get an idea when Trump takes action...

I did not vote for Trump. I too am worried, but one thing about Trump is that he is NOT afraid to pivot; he really is unpredictable. It is very plausible that, upon entering the WH, and upon getting daily security briefings and talking with high level officials (especially regarding potential damage to our European allies) Trump will turn on Russia. I agree, this is not what Trump has been saying, but this behavior I have just speculated ,is absolutely the kind of thing Trump has a history of doing.

Recent retired F16 pilots and ground crews could be hired directly by the Ukraine Military making the difference now, not a year from now. There are several mid-range missile systems due for decommissioning, these could be sent to Ukraine now. Russian Anti-aircraft Systems are becoming scarce in Eastern Ukraine, multiple F16’s would eradicate these from the battlefield with ease creating Ukraine’s air dominance over the entirety of Eastern Ukraine. Russian logistics getting ammunition to the front lines is in taters resorting to using small civilian cars. Armoured personnel carriers and military trucks are being destroyed in huge fireballs due to them being packed full of munitions for the frontlines. No matter how many troop Russia have if they have no ammunition they can’t move forward in strength or even defend.

Actually we don't *know* how popular or unpopular Zelenskyy is with voters in Ukraine right now - their elections were "postponed" due to Russia invading.
