I'm not a trucker, I don't even have a driving license yet, but watching these videos makes me want to be one... I'm a loner so the idea of just driving long distances on my own, with music and my own company seems like an absolute joy to me.

I do office work Monday to Friday for a local cellular network company here in South Africa. My dad is a retired trucker and that is where I got my huge love for trucks. I have been saving up since covid, bought myself a 1999 International 9400 about 2 weeks ago with that savings money, big dream came true. I will be turning it into a little project, driving it myself ON WEEKENDS 😅

You get a set amount of gasoline, diesel, kerosene, etc. from a barrel of crude oil. The demand for diesel is greater than the demand for gasoline. It used to be opposite of this many years ago, which is why diesel used to be significantly cheaper than gasoline. Many more trucks, 4 wheelers use diesel more in many European and Asian countries, not to mention the increase in diesel burning equipment. There is also increased costs associated with the limits placed on the sulfur content of diesel.

I remember when diesel was way cheaper than gasoline. Also it’s cheaper to make. No reason for it to be more expensive. It’s all a scam, no matter what reasons you are told.

I had a diesel car about 30 years ago.. fuel was 2/3 the price of gas. The sky-is-falling folks declared it to be baaaaad, and now it is TAXED to make it more expensive than gas. Thank you, Uncle Government!

Diesel fuel prices went up higher than premium unleaded back in 2007 when they went from Low Sulfur Diesel to Ultra Low sulfur diesel. They have to refine Ultra Low Sulfur diesel more.

I certainly see the things you talk about. It's probably a combination of people that don't care, don't know any better, or just oblivious that they're doing these irritating things. And there's us, those that do care. How many times have you waited and let others go? Many times, and those are just what you show on your vlogs. Happy Times❤

Zero empty is icing on the nickles. Didn't Burger King buy out Tim Hortons like 10 years ago. That would explain a lot. Containing it would not accomplish what they wanted. I think it's 50/50 not knowing and not caring. All those spread sheets, you are your Mothers son. Stay safe, stay warm.
