Esmee Kops AWizardMummyandMartian ImUnique yea I'm sorry to tell you, but a week or so ago, he said they didn't even like each other in IM5, exept of Will (And Cole and him were buddys, but it all changed after he left, Cole and Gabe literally wanted to beat him up while he was staying at Will's, luckily Dalton left earlier) I believe him a 100%, but I'm not sure what to think about this yet.. :(

Actually, Will and David are the only ones he keeps in touch with. None of the other three (Cole, Dana, and Gabe) have bothered to contact him. It's horrible some of the things they did. They, along with Jill, have made it seem like he never even existed in the band in the first place. I quote Dalton when I say this "In the months since I've left, none of the other three have ever reached out". It's a reply to a question he was asked on his Tumblr

He doesn't really. According to Dalton, he and Cole were never really friends. I can link you to his Tumblr posts that say this if you want. Will was the only one in IM5 that Dalton truly missed.

FAH is far from heavy metal. Yes they are a rock/alternative band,but they are no where near heavy metal.

I'm not for labels or genres, but your perception of "heavy metal" is off, even by general standards, so I kind of feel obligated to post this. This type of music wouldn't even really be considered "post-hardcore" let alone "heavy metal". "Metal" and "rock" are two very different sounding genres. Also, Dalton doesn't like to classify FAH in any one genre either; they have a very eclectic sound, it just never gets so heavy as to warrant a label of "heavy metal" (which, again, is a "metal" genre and not a "rock" genre, like their music actually is). Also, what even is "Settle Down"? O-o There isn't even any screaming in this song, you haven't even heard any of the really heavy stuff yet, sugarshot. Taken from flyawayhero.net "Their sound is based in rock but easily crosses from pop to punk to alternative, and at times even a little southern/outlaw rock."

There is no problem with him doing a cover of a song by his ex band. Dalton is an amazing, caring and kind guy! If your angry at him for leaving IM5, too bad! These aren't what people wanna hear, so if you have a comment about how there is a "problem" with the fact he still loves the songs he performed while with IM5, and is making an amazing remix of it, then keep that comment to yourself!

I'm not mad at him for leaving IM5. His sound didn't mesh with their sound, and I applaud him for understanding that and leaving, instead of choosing to be miserable. But just like you don't date a friend's ex, to cover your old song with your new band is a slap in the face.

I love Fly Away Hero but i also love im5 and i like the song but on behalf of me being a 5er i dont like this cover very much the beginning was good but then it changed. All im trying to say is Fly Away Hero stick to your songs please you make those songs great and Im5 needs to stick to their songs . Im5 and Fly Away Hero dont mix.
