If you want a quick way to achieve a loose car, wrap one thickness of sticky tape around the tyre (shiny side out). It's no good for fast lap times, but a quick and easy way to try driving your car with very low grip and lots of wheelspin and drifting. Try it on one rear wheel first, then if you want to emulate even more slippery rally conditions, wrap both rear tyres... it's great for developing throttle control, and as the cars are sideways at much lower speeds, you get to see the action much clearer... When you are bored of it, just peel the tape off and you are back to normal... No cost, no faff, no mess, no tools required...

Many clubs here in Europe don’t allow coatings on front tyres.

There is no need to do that if you spin them with a Dremel.

What I dont like about nail varnish is that eventually it unglues from the tyre and you have to do it again all over.
