I think there are a lot of people who would like to see a version that addresses everything except the vanilla balance. No new units, etc. The game is very outdated in terms of graphics, and improved textures and animations, graphic options are a very good idea... It would be great if the installer had such an option during installation)

Not sure how to do it properly really. Some changes are simply too drastic to be integrated without extensively restructuring of vanilla codes, lots of map editing and a lot of free time.

Far better than what EA gave us with CNC General's and ZH! The units look more real (not a couple of boxes places on top of one another) cannons and rounds fired look more real. Artillery has much better range and takes a good deal of time to reload. Tanks have coaxial guns to shoot infantry instead of just taking rockets all day while the tank cannon does nothing to infantry soldiers. Air units seem much more real as well. Overall a great mod! I wish some of the maps people created were much larger and gave more room for strategic planning and orchestrating realistic attacks rather than the usual front line attack of just sending everything in at the same time. Also, it'd be great if NATO forces had a mobile anti air weapon. As it stands, the avenger will only fire if emplaced in anti air mode. Which isn't how the avenger functions, it can definitely fire on the move. Suggestion for an update to the mod, make the Stryker a versatile system in which you can produce the base Stryker and then select what you want it to be after... ie it can be turned into the M-SHORAD, the MGS, a FSV, mobile mortar system, medical/medevac, an ESV, or leave it as a standard APC. Just a thought. Have you seen the M SHORAD Stryker? Pretty awesome vehicle if you ask me! Also, you could add Iron Dome to the game.

Try deleting the d3d9.dll file. If you can launch the mod then it's probably because your graphics card/driver is too new for the Reshade version I'm using. You would need to install the latest Reshade version from their website

@@ghazi_al_arabie What specs do you have currently? Do you have a somewhat modern PC? The mod will still run into some problems at the moment due to the old engine no matter how strong the PC is unfortunately. Reshade is also very customisable so you can cut down the filter effects easily.

Please fix the remaining unfinished textures if you can, some biomes of these textures are missing it's all pitch black especially unofficial maps in skirmish.

There's no fixing really since I did some reshuffling around a bit and I've already reached the texture number limit. The fix would be on your end to just replace the blackout texture in world builder with something similar then save it.

ROTR even ditched it completely. imo it's best to use in missions, just to mess around with or PVP so I would rather focus on other more orthodox stuff. But I do understand the sentiment, I used to play around it a lot with the New Tech mod 😆

I absolutely love the C&C Generals, it is my top strat from childhood, but won"t the engine struggle? Have anything underlining the gameplay been done? The visuals are good, but I have my doubts about how many crashes per minute I"ll have

The engine still kinda struggle on 3v3, 4v4 maps at the moment. The hard-coded AI functions weren't built very well unfortunately

Would unironically make a great unit but not sure how to code them in atm. They do seem to have a unique kind of movement to them when compared to other stuff in-game. Not sure about as airborne reinforcement, maybe more like an advanced version of the Combat Cycle/Bike that can do jumps would be more fitting. Still, as much as I would like to add it like RIGHT NOW, that would require a lot of work that I can't do atm. Great idea nonetheless.

The new version won't support any missions atm since it changes too many stuff to be ported in easily and there's no generals added in yet. With the 0.9.x version, however, the missions can kind of be ported in more easily but that would still require some work on user's end (I'm fully commit to the new version.)

The mod is highly incompatible with the original campaign. One would need to edit the missions a lot to make it work properly. I'll add an option to turn the icons off completely.

Vector I have talked to you in the past but I have to ask a question I just posted a mod on moddb called generals overhauled and it uses your v 83 graphics only package to add good graphics. But I have to ask for a future update how could I copy your uhd textures for my mod? I have tried finalbig in the past but it doesn't copy anything. It just makes a file that does nothing

I recommend you try to work using extracted files rather than with BIG archives when modding. Archive is only useful when shipping out your mods. I'm not sure what you did wrong but there's some tutorial online one BIG editor or you could try asking about Discord.

@MagnusRohden-db8gy vZH tracer is drawn using engine drawable system. iirc they can be replaced with object tracer that is a drawable object that you have to make a new simple texture/model and replace the vZH tracer with the new one in FX list code.
