ZERO Starting Cash is Crazy | Jurassic Difficulty UK Challenge Map | Jurassic World Evolution 2

Jurassic difficulty on the UK Challenge map gives you zero starting cash which is likely the most difficult start for any park. We have to scavenge off the remnants of a failed park on the property, selling their damaged buildings and selling their roaming wild dinosaurs to be able to scrape together the funds to start our own operation. Oh, and the storms at this location will damage all our buildings so we need a high profit margin to be able to keep up with repair costs. I had no idea this was actually a thing yet. I didnt think we were getting a second entry, but this is looking waaay better than the first one. The graphics, UI, and audio is all super satisfying. I can't wait to snag this up. It'll be a welcome change after being more disappointed in Planet Zoo than I thought I would be (no hands on gameplay like JWE, just point and click management...)

I sold everything but the entrance, the ranger station, and the generator. I got a science center out fast and learned guest attractions. I made money for 2 hours of game play of of a cinema and the innovation center. Put down another attraction for some more income. It was 3 hours in game time before I had a dinosaur.

I had sold the Nigersaurus and kept 3 dracorex and sold the rest just to get some income in. You could have got 1.2 stars alone keeping 3 dracorex, adding a viewing gallery on each side and adding 2 more amenities. Im at 2.4 stars and I only have those 3 dracorex, and that baryonyx. Im only about a hour and a half -2 hours in on jurassic mode

That first small exhibit you destroyed can hold the dracorex actually, I just finished 5 staring the park but on medium difficulty, I don't hate myself 😂

Yeah, in hind sight I had enough cash from selling the other dinos to set up the Dracorex in that exhibit, but wasn't sure how much it was going to take to get to the break even point and I think we made decent use of the space with park infrastructure and amenities. This scenario definitely allows you the most opportunity to be creative with how you start and I love that because everywhere else you just build Stuthiomimus and then look for another herbivore to cohabitate.

when you get the contract to build a tour ride, you can make one anywhere and then immediately destroy it after the contract, then you dont have to run a second tour and you still make the contract + the cost of the building back. also if you get your gates sabotaged you can delete the gate and then replace it and the dinosaurs wont have time to break out

It's just a time-lapse of a few in game hours where we were building up. The only thing I was working on was unlocking the genomes of our "wild caught" dinosaurs so I didn't think any of the recording was particularly interesting for the video.

You could have put the nigersaurus with the dracorex for sure and pretty sure the nusatoceratopses wouldnt have complainee about being with the nigersauruses as well I managed to pull off putting all 3 together by selling a few dracorexes, they stayed pretty content

I could have tried to keep more of the starters, but I wasn't sure how much cash in the bank I would need to get on my feet, and running in the red risks game over so that's why I made my start.

It's way cheaper to move stuff, way cheaper. Move the starting location and initial buildings all really close to each other and in an ideal location so that one generator can power everything and one storm shelter can cover everything and one small path can lead to the viewing gallery. A Hatchery is very expensive to maintain and build but a moved and deactivated hatchery is cheap and has no upkeep costs and is in a better location, it saves you from investing in one as theres already one there. Also, never refill generators, destroy and rebuild it is WAY cheaper plus you get a tiny refund on destroying it.

why does no one think to move the entrance location, its like 33k if I remember right, it alllows you to start in the best possible location and not have to build all this extra stuff which costs a lot of money. I've never seen anyone do that before, it pains me to see everyone put down multiple backup generators and shelters and stuff and build long expensive paths or deal with bad areas of the map to start in.

I've always imagined when you release direct control of a vehicle that the driver/pilot is like, huh? why am I way out here? Having no memory of of what you just did or who you are and silently but quickly goes back to where they were hoping no one noticed their strange absence.

@@junehanabi1756 haha you're all over the place here. It's also better to destroy and replace damaged fences to prevent dino break outs because it's way faster than having your ranger teams come by. I don't do that because it discards the gameplay system of having the rangers fix things and I don't want people to think they have to do that kind of thing to beat the challenges. Not sure why you're going on about how it's better to move the hatchery because that's what I do. Destroying and rebuilding generators only looks cheaper because they start with 100 fuel so their construction cost is the same price as refueling. The only money you save is the 10K for recycling. To that same point building multiple back up generators if you use the fuel is not less efficient than building 1. Moving the starting location is a fun trick and one I might have benefitted from in some of the other challenges but if you watch to the end of this one we establish one of the tightest 5 star parks you can and the original starting position works just fine for this. I like to think the normal driver is there wincing the whole time I'm in direct control because they've seen/ heard about Jurassic World where the park owner got everyone in his helicopter killed. Then they are just relieved when I vanish to my next task.
