Hy Tia! I just stumbled across this video of yours. I've been implementing a lot of what several youtubers like yourself teach into my etsy shop. I started June 1st of this year with coffee mugs and switched to tshirts and sweatshirts fairly quickly. I've benn using SalesSamurai trying to find low competition high ESV keywords. I've had 3780 Views and 3425 Visits to date and not a single sale and only a handful of favorites. I really thought about sending friends and family a $20 off coupon just to get started selling but your advice says don't, can't really afford to anyway. I've got to make something happen! There has to be a few sellable items in my shop out of the 117 listed. Maybe I'm just too old for this kind of thing (64)....if I can't get a few sales during the Christmas rush why keep my shop open?

Hi paul, my main suspicion is that your price is too high (going off “$20 coupon”). Very strange to get so many views and no sales, if you’re happy to link me your shop I can have a look. Alternatively dm me on ig. Don’t close your shop, it’s pretty much free to keep up and if you do you’ll have done all that work for nothing.

I just wanted to chime in to say that you're doing a GREAT, GREAT JOB! Absolutely under no circumstances should you give up. I have not had the pleasure of getting a large number of sales quite yet, but every tutorial I've ever watched or ebook I've ever read have all said that consistency is key. And one day it may just click and the sales will start rolling in. Of course, there's never any guarantee of such a thing. But with your views, and likes, it's just a matter of time! I wish you all the best and I hope that you know you are so very worthy!

I'm a university student and anything I do online business related has always just been a fun side hustle for me. I make a good amount online imo but business is very unpredictable and I definitely wouldn't recommend quitting your job for it.
