lots of people have the laggy scope issue. It's due to how scopes work in tarkov, they use PIP/Dual rendering for scopes which is pretty much a camera on the end of the scope and that render is displayed on the front end of the scope. It's a laggy way to do scopes but some games do this because it's easy and looks good. theres better ways of doin it, like cod and battlefield use much better methods for that but tarkov just doesnt lol.

13:20 IIRC, Variable scopes render another distance once you scope in. The first render is your standard no scope/1x render (i.e Holos and Red Dots) The second render is the magnified render, meaning any 1-x scope will make your game render a finer detailed version of the terrain. Because of this fact, its normal for mid - low tier pc players to not bring variable scopes to Streets or any other map that makes them lag a lot. I remember hearing Sheef talk about this in stream.

Hey fair since you asked for our opinion on your playstyle, if you remember from a few episodes ago i wrote a comment about how controlled aggression or smart aggression gets you to your goal? youre 100% making your way to becoming a lot more controlled in your aggression. i think this episode shows how sacrifice can lead to success and that its the smart choices we can take that lead us to victory. of course in the tarkov sense there is no victory without sacrifice and you my friend are doing the lords work out there. very good job buddy!!!

The 5-7 is a BEAST! SS190 and that ergo is almost unbeatable in close quarters. I’ve killed multiple squads in the past and it makes me giggle everytime against chads.

I nearly always play budget guns like Mosin, AKS, PP19 Vityaz. I was doing peacekeeping the other day and I`m so nervous with this fxcking M4.. so expensive and i feel so bad even though im not a bad player with the budget weapons.. Hate it :D Keep up the good work bro!

Same here, its especially bad on Streets. My FPS drops from like 60-70 on Streets to 40? From what I understand it's do to 'double-rendering' when you zoom in with a scope. Really affects the fluidity of the game.

It happens because every time you ADS with a magnified scope, everything is double rendered in front of you(the cause of the lag spike). there isn't really a fix for it

@fairtx i had the same problem with the lag when ads‘in. I cleared the cache from eft launcher and what probably solved it was more ram. Way better now, hope that helps :) keep up the work love the vids

Maybe 4 or so wipes ago I used the ppsh till lvl 33. Using that gun and insuring it with its mags saved me so much money. You'd be surprised how just using a cheap ass gun can really help

I noticed something with the scopes last night and the same exact one you were talking about. At the shooting range it shot WAY below at the close targets, like almost a whole cursor below. The further away the more it leveled out. It's a weird scope to me.

That tri hawk scope got me killed on shoreline, it seems to over shoot the heads a touch, zeroing is definitely wrong on it, used it on an RPD and an sr25 and same issue with both.

Certain scopes i use, literally yoinks like 20 fps sometimes. ill be a easy 80-90 and go to ads and shoot down to 60-70 until i un-ADS

Tarkov stuttering when you zoom in on an optic is because unity has to start rendering a whole new camera when you zoom in on any optics. This is not on irons or red dots, however.

if youre gonna use that SKS, buy the OP sks mount from jaeger, then slap the pso1 on it, and any laser of your choice. The best bang for your buck on that baby. Or if you can make it happen, slap the holo hybrid onto it.

im seriously considering playing tarkov without the AH or scav raids. It seems so much closer to the real thing and items, even "junk" doesnt lose any of its function. Being limited is what makes this game fun not being geared all the time!....but i need it to release cuz i dont want the pressure of a wipe coming. play it casually over time, and not as a job to stay ahead of the curve and all that jazz early few weeks!
