Absolutely LOVE MINE! Love the ultra strong titanium-aluminum alloy scales. The knife is a tank, the blade itself is a tank, can't do much better than 20-CV. The heat treat is good enough for me and makes sense since it is such a tank of a knife. It's beautiful, imo one of the better looking affordable knives out there. I was looking at L.U.D.T knife with m390 but the proprietary hardware & 66' aluminum scales were a deal-breaker for me.

This one looks really good, it definitely gives that feeling of a more robust and hard use knife compared to the carbon scale version. What I think it lacks, but that goes for all the 562 series is a nice finger choil.

Yeah, no finger choil on this one but you get fairly close to the blade and while I like a finger choil sometimes it would make this already large knife larger.

ZT should bring back the 840 in a full Ti version and one version with textured CF scales. Looks like they discontinued this knife...the 850...WHY?? :P

It is subtle but different materials have different acoustics. Also the Ti version has internal milling.

Titanium is 45% lighter than steel and is more corrosion resistant than even CRES (corrosion resistant steel). It is the ideal knife body material but is difficult to machine.
