Man, oranges (citrus in general!) Is so versatile! My grandma cut up oranges in slices and preserved them in honey for a quick snack, addition to water/iced teas and to make warm tea! She also dried slices on a rack in the windowsill and hanged them from a string to dry further and make space for more 😊 The dried ones were re-hydrated and used in baking and while they were drying, they also doubled as room scent/potpourri ❤ grandma lived in a farm with her brother and parents and they lived low-waste for their entire life. I learned a lot from them all by just being there!

You ain't kidding... that indeed was impressive. Turning orange pulp into vitamin supplements, the peel into candy, and juice into ice lollies (popsicles)? True meaning of _"waste not, want not."_ Then again, any citrus fruits can be converted like so, which is pretty cool. All of that, and Vitamin C, too.

Most peels on citrus fruit contain toxins and pesticides. Some of those become embedded deep within the peel and do not go away with a rise, whereas there is a lack of studies on the effect of boiling it. Therefore if you are planning on using the peel it is reccomend to use organic or even better peel from homegrown fruit unless you want harmful toxins in your food.

Tbh I don't think I've ever met a real vegan irl who isn't chill like this, though I have met a single person who prides themselves on being "partially vegetarian" because they just only eat chicken 😭😭😭 that's just omnivorous bro sobbing I was trying to go vegan/vegetarian for a while to see if it helps my health complications but I couldn't keep up with making my own meals daily and having to give up even more on top of gluten, mainly eggs, and mainly nearly every nut including coconut so yeah that didn't work but it did make me feel better when I did keep up with it for a bit, being vegetarian or vegan is difficult and it's even more difficult if you're transitioning or have other allergies 🥲
@toadacrosstheroad

Also, conclusion: real vegetarians and vegans don't give a shit they just chill like everyone else, stuck up vegetarians and vegans are just privileged enough to do it so they think everyone else should too and that they're less than them for not doing so

Honestly, this man is great, and I can and will learn a lot from him, but I have to ask: do those pills have any vitamins left? Vitamin C is water-based, so by drying up, you lose almost all of it, and for how much of it actually fits in a capsule, I'd guess those pills do almost nothing. Hope he sees this and hopefully points something out that I forgot to consider 😅 but yeah, orange candy and lollies are great and all your other content 🙏🏼 Also I realize the purpose is "no waste", but for it to be more effective i'd think of a different method for the pulp
