Okay so I need to clarify one thing. 2:15 I checked this part again and yeah. I was wrong. Hao wasn't singing here. It was indeed Jiwoong and Taerae. I apologize for that. I wasn't careful enough to double check before posting. But personally, I still hear Hao's voice but oh well But the reason why I brought it up here is that some of you guys spreading things like this whole video is unreliable and invalid. It was only one mistake. The notes are still in fact, correct. I make mistake sometimes in regarding who's singing it's not secret. Watch my NCT or other vocal showcase I can get wrong too. But it's not fair to discredit the whole video, or my channel in general😅 It was only ONE part that I got wrong. So guys, chill.

Taerae's voice is clear and full. Def one of my fave vocals in kpop like everytime he sings, I cannot help but smile and have chills. The way he sings the lyrics word by word makes it very addictive; reason why hes always getting viral bcos of his vocals and even non fans are amazed by it. Compare to his bp performances, hes definitely better now like so so much better. He rly improved in the short amount of time so I wont be surprised if he will be a monster vocalist as the time goes by. So proud of him! 💗

I really like Zhang hao and taerae’s voice. Zhang hao may have a slight edge due to my preference. His voice makes me feel so sentimental for some reason and he definitely has great technique

Agree with aggie here. Volume and projection wise, of course Taerae is outstanding. Gunwook's voice is not as powerful but he has a good tone and control with his voice which suits pop more.

Yeah, I don't know why OP is hellbent on Hao singing that part when we can see he's not singing at that time. Like that closeup when Jiwoong is singing isn't enough to show who's singing the part. Jiwoong is already showing improvement from his pre-BP to when he was shown singing in BP. He could've improve even more now.

you're so fast lol coz i'm just about to send a link of their start cover by zb1 to you and ask for a vocal showcase of it. zerobaseone is prolly the most technically proficient bg i've heard so far in 4th gen. yujin's vocals are such a revelation tbh. he is not that bad, but decent enough for a supporting vocalist of a group. i wish gyuvin can showcase more abt his vocals too. also, taerae and zhanghao surprised me so much. they are better than what i expected them to be. i'm also happy for jiwoong coz he gets to showcase more of his vocals, coz it smh gets overshadowed by his visuals and bl career. ik damn well that he's a good vocalist since then

2:16 - 2:22 is Jiwoong and Taerae part, if you watch the video properly you can see that Zhanghao didn't sing during that, he sometimes appear at the edge of the screen and the mic is nowhere near his mouth. Jiwoong is doing the higher note and Taerae doing the lower one. I would appreciate you not spreading wrong information.

Please don't use letter tiers here Based on this, Taerae should be higher than just Mid Average There is no such thing as Non Vocalist tier. Underdeveloped is the lowest. Yujin should be stronger than Jiwoong

​@@dizdude897​​Yujin literally carry support up to E4 here do you even watch the video- 😅 he is cleaner throughout and does't have notable glottal tension and isn't as nasal as Jiwoong is in this peformance Meanwhile, Taerae is relatively fuller and cleaner than Mid Average right there. You can't convince me the F#4~G#4 throughout here is giving the same quality as Zhang Hao's. Nice forward projection and chesty throughout his level. He was only estimated Mid Average because of his past materials that are a bit underwhelming but this performance proves otherwise

@@dizdude897 no offense to EK Christobal but the channel is not reliable 😅 they used a lot of the vocal terms wrong and also get a lot of the notes in their video wrong. It's pretty clear that they are not that knowledgable + just refer and copy from other analyses Yujin was estimated to be below Jiwoong before. But like I said, in this video, it's pretty noticeable that he actually does somewhat support and is cleaner throughout than Jiwoong is. Like there should be no reason to put them in separate tiers when their development are not that far Whoever said Taerae is too chesty is either lying or doesn't know what really chesty sound is like. He is not THAT chesty. Also it's ironic cuz him being chesty is what should propel him higher in the tier. He was estimated as Mid Average because a lot of his past materials showing his grip on his mix isn't as strong and that his support quality could be soft. This performance proves otherwise. His mix here is closer to how DK sounds like, an actual High Average, which means that Taerae is most likely not just a Mid Average

Istg people has the conception of baritones awfully wrong and as a baritone myself just annoys me so much Istg this guys sing up to F#4 like nothing and even higher into the 5th octave with minimal effort when an actual baritone would struggle like heck (unless you're proficient levels) up to F#4, let alone higher or even the 5th octave with that ease ☠️ Not to mention this guys are about air as high as around E3, no actual baritone would be as airy there, if something that would be part of our mid range
