BLENDER BEGINNER: WINDOW TUTORIAL 1

To fix the shading on the handle, another way to do it is to enable xray mode while in vertex or edge select mode, and then box select all the faces/edges created by the mirror, and then press X, dissolve edges.

This has to be the best beginner Blender tutorial out there! I'll be sure to recommend this to anyone new to Blender. I learned a thing or two myself, and I've been using Blender for years. Ctrl & L to select all connected faces is a very useful tip I never knew until now. Btw, I'm currently working on a window myself but have been stuck for a few days because I can not find any good high res reference of the window I want to make.
