Bike vs Stupidity 189 😡🤜🎒

People don't care/ pay attention to bike lanes / cyclists.... I'm an asshole to people who don't care about safety. NYC born and raised. Most of these incidents can be avoided if they paid attention. Look before you cross, put your phone away while crossing / driving or biking.
( Since people don't have common sense )
I don't yell at people for "breaking the law", I yell at them for not caring about SAFETY, that's it.
Idiot: "Oh but you run red lights and stop signs, stop being a hypocrite"
Me: "I make sure EACH intersection is 100% CLEAR before I pass each light/ stop sign. When it's busy, I wait until the light is green/ safe to go. Hard to be a "hypocrite" when I risk NO ONE'S safety" what else you got?
Also also, here's a huge difference between me yelling at idiots for "breaking the rules" ( which I don't )
and yelling at those who risk my safety and the safety of others... Please learn it

It's quite surprising how people do not look both ways, goes the wrong way and parking on fucking BIKE LANES? I can drive better than THESE idiots. I'll seriously NEVER understand the appeal of driving in NYC. These people all hop in their cars just to take 10x longer than a bicycle. I can understand on rainy days, but if I have somewhere to be then I'd rather take the quickest mode of transport. People argue comfort, but I don't know if I'd ever prefer comfort over getting to where I want to be in a reasonable amount of time.

So it's ok to: *Block* the bike lane. *Walk* on the bike lane. *Jog* on the bike lane. *File your taxes* on the bike lane. *Park* on the bike lane. Make turns *without* using mirrors/ signals. Bike *against* traffic. Using the *phone while* biking/ driving. Cross *without* looking ( especially when it's *not* their light ) If you say nothing, they'll do nothing.
