During my Soviet childhood, I often vacationed in the summer in places like this, which featured brutal architecture dominated by concrete and brick. The best of them had planetariums, libraries, movie theaters, workshops for building radio-controlled flying devices and go-karts. Nearby there were forests and lakes, if they were not, you could swim in swimming pools. Such places were called pioneer recreation camps. It often rained with thunderstorms, cloudy weather. And it added coziness and a special atmosphere of isolation. Not everything was so favorable: bullies, control from adults, rigid daily schedule, of course such things marred the time spent there. But the bad things are quickly forgotten. Your videos bring me back to those times and I thank you for that.

The fact that a video like this exists feels like a memetic SCP agent did their work. When I read about the SCP anomalies I always try to imagine what the employees who work there feel like. What their shifts are like, what they do, and especially the places (Sites) they work on. As a worker of a big company in real life, I can understand this mixed feeling of pride in your work and humbleness against the big scale of things, and imaginary places like these represent those feelings extremely well, together with a weird sense of familiarity and cosiness. These SCP Research Center scenarios are very much what my mind expected them to be like, and that's scary but also relieving because I'm not the only one with these thoughts. Perfectly describes the Foundation. Within the walls of the Foundation, it's eerie because the facility houses many anomalies that are unpredictable and an enigma. Yet it feels safe knowing these anomalies are safely contained within layers of steel and concrete. The headache was hitting again. Pitch black. After what seemed to be an unreasonable amount of time, I woke up standing still, by myself, under the rain. It happened again. It was getting cold and only trees surrounded me, until I distinguished a white structure through the pines, a hundred meters ahead. After a brief hesitation, I cautiously approached the facility, which gradually revealed its facade. That moment made my blood run cold. It couldn't be. Not 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 symbole. The urge to run in the opposit direction was almost incontrollable, but any hasty decision could be regrettable. I knew what kind of activities this place concealed and for a second, I tried to imagine the size of the facility that lay beneath me, and the kind of things that it 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥. I.needed.to.leave. Considering the associated activities that could occure in the surroundings, I couldn't leave in a random direction. I needed information. A map, maybe a cellphone. Fuck. I had to do it. I had to go inside. With an extreme precaution and a racing heart, I walked through the front door. To my surprise, the entrance room was silent and the two reception desks were empty. A file was open on the computer. It was like... people left ? Then I noticed the office chair was overturned behind the other desk. And I realised...people didn't left. They 𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺. Then the entity steps out of the darkness towards you. As it emerges, its form resolves into that of a male human with unkempt dirty blond hair. He is clad in office attire with a standard issue foundation lab coat and an ornate jeweled pendant on a gold neck chain. The man says in a slightly annoyed but mostly relieved tone: "Welcome to Site-19, or what's left of it. I'm Doctor Jack Bright. It's about time SOMEONE showed up, I was beginning to go mad. Well... madder than usual I mean." He then smiles in a way which would have sent sane men scampering into the nearest trees.

This is now my favourite ambient. But not because of the music itself, not because of the sounds themselves, but because of the video..... I can't tell you what I feel when I look at the picture. The foreground shows the building of SCP research centre, located somewhere in the forest. And that's pretty much it) But what a lot of details you can notice! /.\ The architecture of the building is apparently brutalist. The following characteristics, which can be observed, only confirm this: - the predominant building material is reinforced concrete; - - a lot of angular, as if cut off geometric forms; - emphasised massiveness of forms and constructions; - monochrome of the whole building (grey colour). The yellowish lights at the entrance suggest that the research centre is not abandoned. But what's going on inside it? -- We can only guess... Another thing we can only guess is why the building is connected to the forest by a long horizontal passage? Maybe the objects enter the building directly through it? I wish I was there; I'd give anything to walk there. To walk along the path, inhaling the scent of pine needles, to stand in the rain and listen to the surrounding sounds.... The track used here is "Zerofuturism - Sparkles". I've never analysed ambient before: it's quite difficult to do so because it's basically a collection of sounds (even though it's considered a genre of electronic music). One hears the basic tonality -- D minor. You can hear the interval -- the interval that is heard throughout the song, which is the basis for the other sounds -- the quint (D + A). This video can be played on your TV at home, left in the background, as/in place of a mantelpiece. Or just to concentrate. Switch it on -- and work/study.

There also are a few other groups within the shared universe that have various relationships to the foundation like GOC or the Serpent's Hand.

This wasn't the feeling I'd hoped for. I couldn't help imagining myself, laying on the sidewalk, sick or injured, tinnitus screaming in my head, for 3 hours, in the cold rain.... then going numb.... then unconscious... alone.

In a cold, cold, winter day of ‘1984, a few men were driving by somewhere in Indiana, when they had come across a strange building, it was it of the ordinary, “Bleugh.. it’s a bit spooky, actually, haha” one of the people say, it gave them creeps, some had heard the legend of the SCP foundation and the building had the same symbol. It was stormy, and raining, that had added to the vibe, I guess. “Hey… I think we should get out, I heard those people contain weird things, and im sure it’s not safe, we better get going” One of the people, thinking it was all a fairy tale decide to look more into it, A few minutes later, they get chills, they had seen something, they couldn’t explain, but there was something that had disappeared, they drove off to where they were going. The incident is still unexplained

@@sineflake I did also come to a locked door on the fourth floor. I can see a dim light on from the bottom of the door and I hear ice in a glass clinking. In the background I lightly hear "J'ai Deux Amours" by Madeleine Peyroux playing.

I never knew anything about what SCP is. All I know is that there are powerful creatures. And there are strong organizations. Handling them professionally. I can't imagine how deep the lore is, If a heart touching ambience like this, Exist to convert or represent SCP. That's what makes it very intriguing alltogether I don't know about you guys but sometimes it feels good to be a rookie 🤣

To me this one feels like a site days or even hours after a containment breech. As oppose to the first part that felt more like an average SCP facility ambiance. If the word "average" can even be applied to anything SCP related
