I used sand blasting on my FZ6 and i entirely lost my clutch, the disk were so grabby that it doesnt slip at all, and they eat my clutch fibers in about half an hour. I thinkg you should stick to sand paper or a less abrassive as possible medium, you just want to take out the brightness. I ended up changing the disks and the fibers altogether to fix the sandblasting damage.

@@cyberkiller83 The act of irreversibly going all out in some act regardless of consequences. Sand blasting discs instead of using fine grit sandpaper on a flat surface. You got rid of the glazed spots but ended up going to far.

@@aaron___6014 yes you are right, in fact i ended up with steel discs that looked more like grinding dics, so naturally they eat the clutch discs like butter. I will try do the opossite, like polishing. I am doiing this experiments because i have a autoclutch, so i want to see what is the combination that gaves me the best performance.

Is that a slipper/grabber clutch? I never heard of two steels in a row? Seems like that would be asking for slipping.
