Arden was only held back by being a free TT unit so couldn't be +10 until grails came out. Just imagine if you had arena with Arden running around.

I think he covered him in a previous video, something about units that stared out okay, but became stupid strong later on. Arden was certainly better initially, but he only reached his true potential when save skills came out.

I remember that FEH at some point set an sort of cap/standard on 38 attack, and there came suddenly so many units with the 38 attack out. I think it was not long before the 38 attack thing that units had more mixed stat lines. Also FEH loved to put swift sparrow 2 on units for an time, so many older 5* units have that in their kit.

Brave versions of Ryoma, Seth, and Titania would be cool. I don't want Lute to get one because a true brave hero wouldn't brag and bring others down the way she does, especially when she's not an antagonist.

I simpler time where any tome that wasn’t dire thunder that got added was met with “L+ratio+didn’t ask” because blade tomes were just that good and on 3-4 star units who were good in their own right (minus Odin)

My favorite character to have gotten a second chance in FEH is Kronya because she goes from being painfully irrelevant due to 3H just being poorly paced and written to having more than 5 lines of dialogue and even more screentime.

Ma boi Hubert shafted into a support character in which you need to inherit something to actually activate his refinemt by himself (atleast his dmg really nice) else idk cant really agree with Mareeta and Ayra but Lucia is definetly another story on being too good (who probably can even destroy everything again with Heidrun)

Takumi should be on this list. In Birthright, he's the best offensive unit in a game that heavily promotes defensive play, making him struggle a lot in the later chapters in Lunatic Mode. Making him a usable, but not optimal unit. Plus Reina was better in every way In FEH however, he pretty much dominated the meta until the rise of Reinhardt because of close counter.

he’s still not even the best offensive unit in birthright, walking up and using Ryoma at 2 range with raijinto will almost always deal more damage

It’s actually hilarious that Intsys made the unusable units from their mainline games busted in feh like the swordmasters, armors, nino, some lords and nino

Played through FE7 at least a half dozen times and, though she does require lots of babysitting at first, Nino was always a powerhouse for me by game's end

I never really used Nino because FE7 gives you a very strong mage character in form of Pent a few chapters earlier already.

I thought Sain was also good on release, with his assist gives him an extra action thing. In FE7 itself Kent felt always way better for me, but might be RNG, Sain had damage but missed everything for me in FE7. (seems like some parts of this comment where cut off before, sorry)

Man, I’ve never played any other F.E. game besides F.E.H., but is Nino actually good? Of all the Nino variants found in Heroes, none seem that good or stand out in my opinion

Well she was probably the best green mage at the beginning of feh. But nowadays obviously not so much
