I love how these are turning out. I love Clunky and Junky! The bots, the vehicles and I have a good feeling about the combined mode. As far as the pictures we've seen so far, for me, Zeta's Brute looks so much better than UT's. Excellent review as always and I can't wait to get my copy and to get the final bot to build this behemoth!

I love the ALT Mode, the G1 2 door Jeep did not do Swindle justice as a Combaticon. The Humvee was definitely the right choice. I can't wait to have him, but I may hold off on Onslaught. I got a feeling that Zeta may issue another version of him, with the G1 chest and silver thighs. Or an alternative kit by Zeta, similar to Constructor.

I'm basically the only person who looks past the kibble and just enjoys that I can get the largest version of my favourite combiner (especially the foc depiction of his character)

If anyone is coming here because of the newly released Bruticon Set. I have it and I can tell you that the issues mentioned about Swindle's front end, seem to be resolved. Mine is incredibly solid. While in Alt-mode every single panel fits perfectly snug. The only issue I had on mine was a QC issue... The Hood is painted Purple in this version & they put the plastic cover piece (in order to prevent scraping during transport) on too soon, so the paint on the upper Hood section is a bit blotchy. Other than that he's incredibly well made and solid.

Thanks, I'm thinking of getting Bruticon. The only thing holding me Back is the look of the individual bots. It's nice to know that improvements have been made.

@@kup98ss49 Yeah the first few days I had them out in Bot mode right next to Toy World Devy. And, honestly I was surprised at how much I liked them. I don't think the Camera does them justice. They are bulky, but they are no more bulky than the original Constructor set from Toy World. I believe the changes made in the paint apps made a difference as well. Plus the joints are incredibly solid, I highly recommend this release.

Mine should be here Tuesday, as I had to wait to get it shipped till I knew when I would be home...I am so excited about these guys. They may not be the sleekest bots, but all their alt modes are great and they are going to be so incredible combined. It will be my first completed 3rd Party MP combiner, too, so add on to that excitement. Solid review as always, Bobby!

Ok, I'm not into the combaticons as much as I am into the aerialbots, but seeing this, makes me that much more excited to see Zeta's Superion complete with all 5 bots.

I was a much bigger fan of their combined Bruticus reveals before I saw that he's 30% parts forming. But we all knew from the beginning this was only going to be good for a full-time combined mode. Fortunately I've waited for both this and UT to be 100% complete to make any purchase decisions - I hope you get the opportunity to do a side by side!

As much as I do love this set (and have no problems with the looks of brawl vortex onslaught or blastoff,) I do think I will be picking up UT swindle for displaying in robot mode and pretend that he Mas shifts for the combined mode.

Cool figure but I was chuckling over how chunky bot mode is. Alot of click and clacks while manipulating it, I think it lives up to it's name. I guess some trade offs were needed in order to form a pretty decent looking alt mode (ignoring the hood collapse).

I ended up dropping Unique Toys Combaticons after the first two. Initially I passed on Onslaught just because it came out at an inconvenient time for me financially, but the joint issues were a concern after that. I do not like the way Vortex and Blast Off look so I decided to just stop. Their Swindle and Brawl were good for stand alone Combaticons to me though. Swindle is one of my top 5 favorite characters so getting every version of him is more than a good enough excuse. Brawl I may just put with my Planet X figures. Brawl was the only playable Combaticon in WFC, so if I don't decide to get two sets (combined and individual) when Planet X gets around to FOC Bruticus then it can fill that role for me even if it isn't the right aesthetic.

It’s possible that the front of the truck becomes untabbed because you stretched out the holes trying to plug the guns into them.

Skullface I have a serious question about collecting Combiners. I'm really looking at purchasing more Combiner teams but there's a certain way I'm trying to attempt this. For my collection, I'm going for a set for individual display, a set for displaying in vehicle mode, and a set to have in combined mode. I know it's gonna cost money but what's your opinion about my ideas? For Bruticus, what companies do you believe put out the best products???

The bot mode chunkiness is starting to work for me. it works with them all together as a team. All these big boys would make a heck of a defensive line.

The defensive line is responsible for collapsing the pocket, getting pressure on the quarterback and mashing him into the turf. The offensive line is more defensive in nature protecting the quarterback. There ain't no Autobots big enough to hold these guys back from taking down prime. When these guys are done with him, he will be Optimus P*ssy.

I don't know, it looks so much better than unique toys' Swindle, which looks twice as ugly next to it, but the overall aesthetic and panel-heavy transformation just isn't working out for me, but maybe I'm biased because I'm still swooning over Iron Factory's take.
