I have this the 1050 and 1020 for my 30 cm square tank, the 1050 for blue light and 1020 for white, my tank is running for a few months now, and it seems to work ok, I am keeping 2 black storm clown, 2 clown shrimps 1 harlequin shrimps, and a large starfish, and my tank is fully automatic.

If you dim the light in mode 3(Blue and white) does it also dim the blue light or only the white light?

I have the update version, the M1 which runs on 5W instead of 3W on the 1050, what i want to know, is it really suitable for marines.

does your light works with timer? I mean did it power up after shutting down? I heard that some of these need to power up manually again via controller, so it's not gonna work with timer.

It has memory features and turns it on which ever color when powered off, so yes it can work with timer.

@@kms108 Thank you for answer! I'm considering this light for 2 gallon pico reef. I hope 5W will be enough. It's interesting about wattage, manufacturer in their website and other sources says that ZN1050 is only 3w (even if it's in full brightness blue + white mode). Other sellers says it's 3W+3W (so overall 6W?) in blue + white mode. So interesting how it's possible to have 5W in full brightness blue + white mode. 3 blue + 2 whites (1W per led)?
