Just saw Rancid for the first time this week even though I've been a fan since the first album. They were one of the tightest bands live I have ever heard. Strangely enough never saw an interview with Lars before and really enjoyed this!

At warped tours NOFX is always making fun of rancid and vice versa. Good time's!

I just got home from seeing Rancid and Dropkick Murphys tonight in Atlanta. First show I've been to since covid ruined live shows. It was great!!

I remember first listening to Rancid on a Punk-o-rama compilation album (Vol. 3) I remember it being super inexpensive and I wanted to hear the NOFX and Bad Religion songs in my friends car...I heard Hyena and I Wanna Riot...Man I was blown away. I remember listening to Out Come the Wolves on loop the next year. So much Energy. Cheers to Lars for such a great interview. He is so down to Earth.

Lars....the only guy on the planet who is a 50 year old skinhead ....who's only been a skinhead for 10 years. Loved his MTV years the BEST!

Rancid was the first band I ever bought a ticket to go see in Chicago at the house of blues. Mannn I’ll never forget that day, I went by myself bc my friends didn’t like punk. I was super drunk, in the pits and I remember getting knocked down and some random kid picking me up and asking me if I was cool.... the good ole days man... 😞

I drove 2hours to see Lars & the Bastards by myself aswell way down in the ghetto of Cinncinasty Oh. It was on their very 1st tour doin the opening support spot for the Dropkick Murphys

Nice! I was in the pits and got elbowed n the fkn face and my eye instantly knotted up but random people picking me and asking if I was ok, I kept on. 🤘🏽

I thankfully got to see Lars with the Bastards on tour with the Murphys in Milwaukee. He actually played with the Murphys on their set too. One of my guitar idols as a teen. The first song I learned was As Wicked. What a great dude! Great interview too

Thanx for this....the Viking returns! 1st saw Lars solo stylie when he & the Bastards opened for the Dropkick Murphys way back in 90's. The 1st band on the bill were called Thug Murder. 2Pac & gangsta rap being so popular @ the time i had no idea wht to think. The lights went out and the announcer in his best KISS Alive II voice "All the way from Osaka Japan...THUG MURDER!!" On stage were 3 japanese females who proceeded to str8 Rip that place apart by the time they encored with the Exploited "Dead Cities". 15mins later were Lars & the Bastards. Still have the Bastards shirt from that exact show!!!

I remember the first time I heard Blood Clot when it first came out, and I didn't even know it was Rancid. I was saying that this song is great, then the DJ on the radio says "and that was the new song Bloodclot by Rancid".
