A video on how to best setup Rode podcaster pro board with Zetta 2 go would be amazing I track 3-4 diff stations. My mic setup EV re20 sounds diff on almost all the stations :/ all is set to the same levels I don’t get it..

You mean the RodeCaster Pro II? I've never used one, but it looks like a much beefier version of the Yamaha AG06 that got me through multiple lockdowns 🙌 If RØDE has any units laying around, I'd love to have a play and make a video on how to best use in a live radio setting though!

Did you ever get to the bottom of the difference on each station? I've only just seen this, but would it not be down to each station having different processing?

If I was wanting to apply at a FM commercial station what would that type of a position be considered? Because i know how to do all that plus a bit more but never knew what the name of that position would be.

As in the segueing (moving around of audio files so it sounds cool)? 'Panel operator' would be the closest position, but these days it's advantageous to have multiple skills eg: Panel op, show producer, audio editing, etc,

Lol i work in production and tech department in community radio and am a brekky host as well. still can't convince them to buy zetta so stuck with what we've got. buuuuuut who says you can't use multitrack editor in audition on secondary studio pc to pull the tricks off. thats what i do anyway

@@TheRealHixy is that the department that does this type of stuff, like in a real FM radio station ? I would love to be able to do something like this for a daily job plus I already have the experience on how to do this amongst doing more in depth editing But I never knew what the department or name of that position would be called 🤔

Does all the Seg Editor Bits you are layering in Multitrack stay mm perfect when Stretch Squeeze is being used in the clock? Are the audio bits you are dragging in Link Assets or Hot Keys?

Depends how it's been setup - whether just songs that stretch, or links & bits too? I've found minor issues with meticulous segues slightly drifting when stretch has been applied

To turn it all off permanently, you’ll have to get a engineering person to go through the station-level settings.. This can cause issues with ingested traffic reports that play over beds though (the voice might get drowned out without the ducking killing the volume of the bed)..

We're stuck with dinesat so i just cheat and multitrack edit what i want how i want on the secondary playout computer via cue function then when its ready just playout from audition. its not pretty but it works
