As a test, try adding pigmentation to skin tone before basic skin tone and deck tan steps. Add these colors with very low air pressure so it shoots droplets. Heavily watered-down inks: - purple - red - green Then proceed with rest of the skin tones and it truly brings them life.

I use the magnets in figures to transfer the low voltage power. Magnets in the base and in his feet with matched polarity would allow you to remove him for transport/etc. when you stand him in the base the magnets that hold him in place would act as contacts 👍🏻. LOVE the channel and the new style vids. Keep up the amazing job
@Groundeffected9 ай бұрын
I thought of doing this but I dunno if I can take that much time to set all that up. After all I do have to make a model or project every week so time is very limited. Also do you just solder to the magnet?

😮😮😮Total Awesomeness😮😮😮
@mDoThis8 ай бұрын
you could have connections with magents - between legs and the base. Magnets would close the connection between model with leds and battery pack in the base and it would light up. Switch can also be in the base to not light it up everytime magnets close connection.

No magical Orcish Dermis? I am shocked. Quick questions: instead of transparent red, i assume a thinned down regular red would work just the same, or perhaps a red ink? Secondly, if i don't have the medium fleshtone color, would natural flesh from fairy set be a good replacement? Thanks for giving me hope that nice easy skintones are doable.

“Right now” instead of “Right meow”. No 🐬. We truly are seeing an alternate negaverse Brent. The videos these days seem like a natural progression in pace from the old ones, but I must admit I miss the sideways crouching on a chair “your dad” intros. I imagine opening up the studio has left less time for the weird skits, as well as the additional patreon content we’ve been getting. Just a PSA about the patreon: If you want to get started and make some amazing display pieces, the youtube stuff is already amazing. If you watch some of the older videos you’ll get a bit more experimentation and processing. If you want to see painting with all the extra steps because you can’t quite figure it out still, or are second guessing your results, the Patreon videos will help. A 12 minute youtube video has a lot to go over, while a 40 minute patreon video is a long time to expect a comedy show to last. It’s a fair split. Have fun painting.

As always amazing print and paint! One thing I am struggling with when using the airbrush is the air pressure. In your videos you state low air pressure but what does that mean on the machine? Yes i know what low means but how low do you go when doing your skin tones?
@Groundeffected9 ай бұрын
Low enough that it’s still sprays smooth and doesn’t spatter. This number will be different for all of us. Just spray a tissue or paper to see what it does as you turn down the pressure at the compressor. I do this for more finer control as less paint comes out. The thinner the paint the lower you can go. So thin the paint a bit more than usual to drop pressure.
@razalom668 ай бұрын

@Groundeffected8 ай бұрын
Had it for a few months now. It does as it should no problems. It’s a printer dude. They all have their quirks. And they’re made in the thousands so you might get a bad apple it’s a chance with any item bought that’s mass produced. But in general they all work as the should and last as long as how well you treat them I guess. It’s a decent machine. For me it’s a fast printer. If I need prototyping it’s perfect for that. I haven’t actually even printed at lower layer heights because for me it fits into its space in my workflow as a fast printer only. But it’s more than capable of fine details too
