In this video I will be shooting the Zev OZ9 for the first time since changing out the extractor, striker cups, and striker assembly spacer sleeve to Glock OEM. Will it function reliably?

When can we get a Red Gorilla t shirt? Give the people what they want.

Thanks for sharing Any idea offhand how much the gun itself cost in addition to the modifications you've made thus far in order for it to run reliably? And were none of the failed parts under warranty by Zev? Apologies if this was already mentioned at some point in your videos.

The gun was $1,499, but of course I added a 507 comp($300) and a DPM systems recoil system($100). The factory guide rod is solid though. Other than that the only thing I changed was the extractor to oem glock($10) and I switched the striker assembly cups($3). I’ve not had any issues with reliability since making those changes. I did just send the trigger bar and connector in because it mysteriously stopped working, but they did warranty it, and the new one is working great. It’s been spotty but I absolutely love the gun. It’s my hands down favorite gun I’ve ever owned

Glad you were able to get it running right. Do you think you would purchase another?

Absolutely. Favorite gun to date. Awesome thing is, one is enough because I can get all the versions I want. Compact frame with full size slide, full size of course, and full size 5” all with one gun. It’s my favorite platform for sure.

Thank you sir. Not used to having firearms that don’t function 100% reliably. It’s a strangle feeling to say the least.
