Watching Maestro Becan is watching poetry in motion....it is watching a dance of Love for the music and his beloved musicians. And it is clear to see that they return that love by playing with their hearts and Love for him! Bravo...Bravo...Bravo! The. Entire orchestra is outstanding. The individuals themselves bring quality and the blend well into the group. I’m especially referring to the clarinetist with the flaxen hair. She preforms perfectly and makes an outstanding appearance in the group.

What a wonderful performance. It is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. That's what great music should do, it should produce an emotional response. Sadly most modern music fails abysmally. This fantastic orchestra does it every time. If music doesn't affect us, either we have failed, or the musicians have, or the composer has. These brilliant musicians tug at my emotions every time.

Bravo, Brava, Bravissimo, Bravissima. What a joy to find this beautiful presentation of this favorite piece from Tchaikovsky ! I have come to appreciate the strong lyric sound of this orchestra playing the Russian composers, and finding a new post is a wonderful thing to have. Nejc Becan is one of the best directors now, and I love to watch his expressive sweeping motions as he leads this wonderful group of musicians. The first violin is a favorite, as is the first clarinet, and the flautist and the cello. Welcome all to my list of much loved favorites.

And to the orchestra members and Maestro Bečan, thank you so much for your superior efforts and dedication to your art. I have truly been blessed today by all involved with this performance and its recording. If only KZbin could deliver without pops and crackle. And that one thumb down, it was given either by Concertgebouw because their audio is merely adequate, or by the Menuhin Competition because there are too many Europeans involved in this beautiful program.

I’ve played this years ago in our symphony bass trombone. Bass trombone rocks with tremendous power and attack. The youth symphony with the brilliant director has everyone playing music not just the notes written on the page. This was a spectacular performance for a youth symphony. Your country must have a great strong music program.

Thank you so much for this reissue. It has always been thrilling to hear and see these inspired young musicians and while there was always great attention to technical quality, at times factors intruded (such as the best equipment vans were all taken for sporting events) and so re-engineered releases are most welcome - we can hear the music at it's very best.. This very beautiful and thrilling performance is an inspired choice as one of the first items for re-issue. [I'm listening through a high-quality audio system and while I can detect a tinge of brittleness in the top end at times, the overall sound is really excellent.]

So what exactly is the "Hi-Res Audio"? What resolution does KZbin stream in? And the sound does not appear to be synchronised with the video -- the sound is slightly behind.

48 / 24bit is a hi-res audio. It was rerecorded and procesed with tube mastering. And it was added as hires stream to youtube which preserve it in its own audio stream.
