Keeping old Toyotas alive, love to see it :) Great little cars and still cheap compared to EP3/FN2s that get all the headlines.

Best thing I've done to mine is fit a limited slip differential from a mr2, along with the rear anti roll bar,eibach and bilstein suspension and pilot sport 4 tyres avensis brake conversion, definitely punches above its class,

I don't actually know what wheels they are. Found them cheap on Facebook 😂 and liked them

We dont see those in NZ. I used to own a BZ wagon that was more along those lines (4A-GE engine). Have a Blade now, same idea but 3.5 litre V6.

what hp range can you get these engines to on stock internals, i am thinking about getting one as a project car but want near 300 brake, or if it comes to it i would upgrade some internals if need be, is this possible ?
@ZGVlogs Жыл бұрын
I have no clue mate. I never really looked into it as I didn't keep the car long enough or enjoy it as much as I thought I would
@DimoS...8 ай бұрын
This engine can reach 400bhp with stock internals buddy but the key is low torque. With valve springs and lower compression pistons can go 500bhp for sure rods and crankshaft is forged from factory. The c60 gearbox can't survive with this numbers but e153 is the solution

What are these cars like on petrol (if driven economically) I’m a fast food delivery driver and am looking to upgrade but want something that is between the 30-40mpg range

@@ch04_n04 ahahaha no chance. I struggled getting over 30 the whole time I owned it. On average I got 27-28MPG around town

Would you be able to insure this as a first car?

That depends on the individual person. Some may be able to, some not. Also depends on how much you would be willing to spend on insurance

@@ZempxtAs an experienced driver . I highly recommend you don't get this for a first car. I actually don't even recommend for new drivers to get a Yaris Tsport for various reasons. Because of the small wheel base and the kerb weight of 940 kg, if you chuck it in a corner and lift off the accelerator you will wrap it round a tree. You either put your foot down or break . Never lift off!

@@sampeck9235ah yeah bro my cousins got a Yaris t sport and he rags that around and never had any problems with it there quite nippy aswell for a first car What would you recommend for a first car with decent performance and not going to break the bank
@sampeck92355 ай бұрын
@@Zempxt some first time drivers are naturally good mate. I'm just saying as an average there not good first cars unless you know what ya doing. It's no coincidence that Yaris T sports have an insurance static of 1.5 out of 2. Meaning it was either going to get stolen or be wrapped round a lamp post. It was a statical certainty. Yaris 1.3 vvti is a good start, Corsa eco boost, 106 quick silver 1.4 Something along them lines in my opinion.
