I listened the original song on live by Miki Matsubara in 1980. It does not have the speedy side guitars of the original, nor the drums or percussion. However, this arrangement of the horn section such as the trombone and trumpet are so excellent . Furthermore, the wonderful vocals are enhanced by the blithe and Jerzy atmosphere. The atmosphere is just jersey, but the sadness of a broken love is conveyed to us and enhanced by the time difference due to by the trombone's mawkish expression.. It is a truly wonderful arrangement, and in a way, I think it should surpasses the original arrangement.
