【長崎／観光名所】亀山社中／幕末を駈けた志士達の貿易結社 - Kameyama Shachu Museum in NAGASAKI, JAPAN

亀山社中は、長崎県長崎市にある坂本龍馬らが慶応元年（1865年）に結成した貿易結社。
その遺構を長崎市が復元整備し、平成21年（2009年）から一般公開しています。
通説では、薩摩藩や商人の援助を得て亀山社中が結成されたと云われます。
亀山社中は、武器購入の仲介を果たし薩摩藩と長州藩の同盟一役買ったとされてきました。
この通説が、近年揺らぎはじめています。
亀山社中の結成から僅か２年後、坂本龍馬は、いろは丸沈没事故で紀州藩に巨額の賠償金を不当に請求した責任を取らされるかのように、京都の近江屋にて暗殺。
今日、真実と虚構が織り重なる坂本龍馬の存在が見直されはじめています。
母屋は10畳、8畳、3畳の部屋と土間に分かれ、3畳の部屋と土間の上には隠し部屋があります。
また現在は失われていますが、母屋の北側に土蔵と馬小屋もあったと伝わります。

Kameyama Shachu is a trade association formed in 1865 by Ryoma Sakamoto and others in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
The city of Nagasaki restored and maintained the remains, and has been open to the public since 2009.
It is commonly believed that Kameyama Shachu was formed with the support of the Satsuma clan and merchants.
It is believed that Kameyama Shachu mediated the purchase of weapons and played a role in the alliance between the Satsuma and Choshu clans.
This common belief has begun to be shaken in recent years.
Just two years after the Kameyama Shachu was formed, Ryoma Sakamoto was assassinated at Omiya in Kyoto as if to take responsibility for the huge amount of compensation he falsely claimed from the Kishu clan for the sinking of the Iroha Maru.
Today, Sakamoto Ryoma's existence is beginning to be reevaluated as truth and fiction are interwoven.
The main house is divided into 10-mat, 8-mat, and 3-mat rooms and an earthen floor, and there is a hidden room above the 3-mat room and earthen floor.
It is also said that there was an earthen storehouse and a stable on the north side of the main house, although they are now lost.

一般的に海援隊はじめ坂本龍馬に対する認識は司馬遼太郎のファンタジー小説がもととなっていますが、 脱藩後の莫大な活動費、大量の武器の購入資金など不明な点が多く、同時期に同じ土佐藩の岩崎らとの関わりにも謎がありますね。 動画内でもチラッと触れましたが、紀州藩への強気な言いがかりも背後に強力なケツ持ちの存在があってのことと思われます。 いずれまとめて動画にできればと考えています🎥
