Thank You Chef for bringing me back to this neighborhood. My grandma used to live at 明華大廈. I lived there for couple months when I was a little boy. This brought my fond memories with my grandma (who is in Heaven now). Thank You.

You seem to be really enjoying life after retirement. I left HK at age 18 in 1971, and did not spend much time seeing places while I was there. So it's good to catch up to the old times. I grew up in Shaukiwan too. Anyone remember there is a Garden Restaurant right across the #2 bus terminal N years ago.

Yes it was the same spot of many deadly accident. I remembered a cement truck weighted tens of tons slammed into Garden Restaurant in the 80s killing scores of customers inside. It was also 9B bus terminal(a short wheel based double decker accustomed to the curvy road to Shek O

見到星星拍下既麥當勞,筲箕灣差不多九零年先有老麥,以前中學午飯時代要叮叮出康怡才有老麥食!

I remember your DAD. OMG, I am 52, i used to live in the 3rd building (i lived there for 15 years - baby to 15 years old), your Dad's food booth was really close by the 3rd building. OMG, i used to buy fried food from your dad when i was a kid. OMG, I might even know you. OMG
