That 2nd Big Fish performance was from 2020, so 2 years after the first one. And he was a lot more hesitant in 2018, but gained lots of confidence on the Super Vocal show, even if he didnt make it into the group at the end.

I am glad you discovered Zhou Shen. I discovered him through a "learn Chinese through songs" video a couple months ago and am still stuck on him. The first Big Fish you showed here was from a 2018 tv show called Super Vocal. They had competing teams of singers, some students, some professionals. He had suddenly been picked by his time to sing a solo tie-breaker, and since this was his big hit up to that point, he sang it (and lost the tiebreaker). He was young, lacking confidence, scared to let his team down, unrehearsed. So it is more of a small bite of it. The second version of Big Fish you posted was a serious performance when he had gained confidence, singing skill etc. If you look in KZbin, you will find original performances from when it was his first real public recognition for singing. Maybe 2016? 2018? He is so shy and sweet. Look for one where he is singing with a girl, sitting on a stool to our right. I have never seen the version of Ring the Doorbell you reacted to here. It is a later performance. He first did it on another professional singer competition show, Singer 2020. It is utterly amazing and captivating. You will really fall in love!! I hope your Chinese is also getting better :) Thank you very much for all the information regarding the tv show and him, I will need to check that tv show but I'd imagine I won't be able to post it here, still. I will see if the songs I can even with the edits. I will check the link you shared there because like you said, the version I saw of Ring the Doorbell was from the Produce Camp survival show, so I'd say the original would be different. I am planning to upload two more reactions from him tomorrow if there are not issues :) From Canada???

The shows Super Vocal and Singer 2020 can easily be found on KZbin (extended version with English subtitles)... each episode is an hour or two long, and many episodes. Most of the good songs can be found as their own videos, just the length of the song. And yes! Very good for learning Chinese.

Watch the full song of Ring the Doorbell. This is one of the song that Charlie (his English name) wasn't sure how to express in the beginning. But then nailed it! The full version has its caption. If possible, check his latest Big Fish 大鱼 as Charlie raised the notes I'm not sure if any Shengmi told you yet that originally Big Fish was sung by Charlie as a demo. The composer loved Charlie's voice and let him to sing the song instead. This song is his breakthrough. Ofc Charlie has many amazing performances that established his fame now. For all Shengmi(s) know how hard he works & before he is well known as now, he was struggling T-T 深深宝贝， 我太爱你了！ ♡
