Interrogating Red Maid (拷紅), Kao Hong, is from the movie “Romance of the West Chamber” (西廂記), released in 1940, and based on Yuan dynasty literature. You can find an exceptionally good movie clip of the young Zhou Xuan singing this song if you search for “new and old movies album cdman88” in KZbin.
