Yea, Ma Long vs Zhang Jike is like Ronaldo vs Messi, one guy is pure talent, the other pure hardwork and determination. A more accurate comparison would have to be J. O. Waldner vs Ma Long

Can anyone tell how to practice FH topspin alone with table tennis table and some 10 balls
@danielweng2885 жыл бұрын
Anupam Pandey You can use a sofa and brush the ball with your racket against the sofa and if it bounces, that’s some good topspin

'In that case I would suggest that you practice with shadow swings. I will explain it to you, in case you haven't heard of it yet. It means to practice the strokes without equipment. To get it realistic you can hold your racket in you hand while doing it. As the name "shadow swings" tells it is about stroke mechanic. To be able to control yourself I recommend you to do those shadow swings in front of a mirror. Then you go through all the factors. I recomment to use the princip "from the legs up" while improving your technique. That means that the first thing you look at are you're feet. Do they stand correct for the stroke you are practising? Then you go on to your legs. Are they bent enough, or do I stand to straight? Then check the same with your upper body. Now you can look at the start and finish position of you bat with the stroke (carefull: Not every stroke has the same start and finish position). After that check yourracket angle (depending on the stroke you are practising/as example: While topspinning the racket must be quite closed, to brush the ball on the top and give it the topspin) and then take a look at your hitting point. On the forehand it should be just slightly in front of your body, on the backhand in front of your body.
