There’s a chance that he will become the next heavyweight champion in 2025. Usyk is moving down to cruiserweight after the Tyson Fury rematch. If Usyk wins the rematch it means that he’s vacating all the belts to fight in cruiserweight but if Fury wins then he will hold all the belts then Zhang has to only beat him to win the belt but I don’t really think Fury will ever let Zhang fight for the belts. What Zhang need to start doing now is to win the Parker rematch or fight Dubois for the IBF interim to gain his top position back which will make him become the heavyweight champion.

WBO *Interim champion means hes no 1 contender for WBO. So is top challenger or if in some circumstances the belt is vacated he could be promoted to WBO champion, but more likely it will be him fighting the other top contender for the belt 👍

The fight with Wilder was hilarious. They both wanted no part of being hit by the other. Both so hesitant at first. The first solid shot was landed by Zhang, and that was it. I like Zhang. Hope he gets some more good opportunities to show us what he can do.

Beautifully directed and very well edited film that really shows the human side of a fighter and in Zhang's case a seriously talented one. He dismantled Joyce twice and ended Wilder's career. If Joshua faces him I back BBZ to win, if he finds AJ's chin its game over.

They may or may not, their government currently doesn’t like any martial art that isn’t originally from China, you rarely see Chinese boxers or mma fighters. Its such a shame he started boxing late, he’s like Wilder in terms of a late start but unlike Wilder, I think his trainers really forced him to get the right technique and made him thoroughly learn the fundamentals so he didn’t just rely on Power. Also sucks he went pro at 30… I’d guess he would’ve been a champion by now had he started at the same time Wilder did, I’d argue he woudlve destroyed Wilder when Wilder was holding a belt.

Yeah Zhang is legit, arguably the best HW at 41 years of age (Larry Holmes and Jersey Joe Walcott would have a word about that), but best boxer like regardless of weight class? It ain't just a 48 year old George Foreman who held 2 World Titles, Bernard Hopkins did it too till he was 48. Plenty of 40+ year old solid boxers existed. Zhang ain't that good. Like to begin with he allowed the judges to rob him vs Hrgovic and Parker, that should never happen if you're the best 41 year old in history. Ever.
