Zhatan and the Overseer have the problems of being Melee dedicated lords in a faction where the Mage character is better in melee while having magic. They need something else to help them

I think zahtan should get combat buffs Especially on foot. More MD and maybe some kind of resilience passive where he get‘s like 5-10% ward save while in meele. Often times when I bring him, I find him loosing to other goonsquads (looking at you Imrik)

Casters on monsters need to have their magic nerfed and magic in general needs to be nerfed heavily, it's as simple as that. Melee characters are playing second-fiddle to casters and that sucks megaballs. Magic should be way less reliable and there absolutely needs to be some sort of anti-magic mechanic. It stinks that CA still failed to do anything about that.

I feel one of the bigger mistakes was having the bale taurus squad chasing kairos for the first 5 minutes taking free shots from blue fire spam and the soul grinder. If they had just committed to wrecking a few chaff units here and there instead of slowly trudging after kairos I think the game would have turned out much differently.

I think ironically it ended up being not too bad as Tz threw like 3 screamers at the squad 1 by 1, which died so fast I'm not sure they would have gotten their moneys worth. If the characters engaged in the ground game, screamers engaged with spear support and maybe Kairos/Soulgrinder and they get murdered then. Maybe

One interesting tech is that the lamasu negates magic damage in an AOE. So that goon squad is getting physical resist vs tzeench that actually works.

one thing to note, he’s very slow.. most people have kinda gotten use to screening him. But, there are still specific matchups/circumstances where he works really well. both dwarf matchups are good examples

The fire storm at 15:48 ends up taking that entire unit of spears out out the game. Luck, and a good cast choice.

Wouldnt it be more suitable to buff the chawi infantry instead of costs reductions? Tone down their leaders as well and the faction is more aligned with the lore description?

Chaos Dwarfs are so weird. They have above average chaff (hobbos), and rivals to skavenslaves (laborers). They have super elite troops (things like the Infernal Fireglaives), and one of the most busted mid-tier gunpowder units (blunderbuss), and their artillery/monsters are fantastic, and Lore of Hashut deletes whole units like they weren't there. But their 'bread and butter' troops are overpriced drek.

To be fair, them not having much in terms of cost efficient units is supposed to be a weakness, as your options are either very strong but expensive or weak but cheap. Problem is now it's too expensive. Hobgoblins cost almost as much as Ogres while being much weaker
