They released it so early because the tour started November 14th. That gave people a chance to listen before the tour. I think this is mostly a capella too. Obviously the beginning is not. The rest of the effects are kevin.

I’m watching this after seeing them perform this last night (I got home at 2:30am) I am soooo tired, but they are so worth it! This is such a sweet and fun Christmas song! I think it’s a song that familiar without being the same as others, instant classic. You definitely need to react to their new version of O holy night! Beyond spectacular!

Matts gift was in a box that had a Tesla symbol on it, since Matt owns a Tesla. but I'm not sure about what the rubber Mallet joke is. Kevins salt and pepper shakers looked like bongo drums, Scott got what appeared to be a (very worn) song book, I think that is in reference to his finding more older songs and make them PTX "Christmas" songs. If you remember their animated video with floof; "There's more, there's always more" Mitch's sunglasses didn't come in a case, and he's got quite a collection of ear rings. So what did he think they were at first? lol I absolutely love the video, Kirstin sounds fantastic, and always love your reactions!

So Happy feeling!!!!! Ok they did a 4 spoons of sugar 1 of salt and everyone had to guess who got the salt from the reactions they gave, Kev got the salt, The glasses from his Messer video, Scott and Mark just wrote a book, and Matt's wife just passed the Bar Exam to become a lawyer...I think that the links to the gifts.

So, the gifts....For Kevin, they did a short with each one of them eating a teaspoon of sugar, except one was salt and we had to guess who got the salt, Mitch got the glasses from his Messer video "Your Power", Scott and Mark just wrote a children's book and Matt's wife passed the bar exam to become a lawyer. and BOOM LOL!!!

While I agree in principle on the "starting Christmas too early", there actually is a reason for this video coming out when it did. PTX has just started their Christmas tour within the last couple of days (mid-November), so they needed to get the song and album out in order for their fans to have a chance to listen to the new songs on the album and get ready to hear them on the tour. So I'll give them a pass on this one - although it's really never the wrong time to hear a Christmas song from PTX!
