Top notch video Jake 👌 Very impressive. And the minor movements out of the car window (to me at least) adds a nice touch to the realism. This beats the typical 'solid mount' look at times and gives some wonderful fluidity to the clip. Seeing the actual size of the area the helicopter was flying around in, was simply astonishing & you captured the comparison of size between helicopter and glaciers perfectly. Well done 👏👏

Hey Jake first off I hope all is good with yourself. What an amazing video to be able to capture that landscape and a good story behind it all very interesting. Your friend the pilot fair play to her flying through them two ice blocks. M3 looks like a nice piece of kit. But putting that to one side seeing it with your own eyes is a piece of magic. Well done

I just can't get over the white body, you can see all the dirt and grime. I went with the DJI RS3 Mini, and I am very happy with it. I won't lie though, I own the RS3 Pro, RS3, and RS3 Mini, and I always gravitate towards the RS3 because of the auto lock function. The Pro has it as well, but it offsets it some when it locks, plus it's waaaaay overkill for anything I ever do.

nice! I do kinda agree on the white color, I definitely prefer black for most things

Hi Jake thanks for the video... I'm looking at a Black Friday sales now and I own a Panasonic S5M2 and with my 20-60mm lens the camera weights 2.4lbs I am not sure what your Sony setup weights but do you think this gimble would handle my camera weight? the gimble specs state that the max weight is 3.4lbs I just don't want the motor struggles thanks for what you do.
@JakeSloan
@JakeSloan 9 ай бұрын
I think the weight will be close enough, the main thing is making sure the lens isnt too long out front making it difficult to balance

Help Please!!! I can't seem to find the proper screw to attach the camera to the baseplate. I thought it was a mistake when they shipped me one without the specific screw so I returned it and they send me another. apparently this screw doesn't come with the gimbal even though it is extremely specific because of the clearance it needs in order to attach properly. Ive been buying screw kits with all different size screws and no luck. Can you direct me to where I can get the screw that attaches the camera to the quick release base plate?
@JakeSloan
@JakeSloan 11 ай бұрын
it is a 1/4 20 screw. you should be able to find one at any local camera shop
@donthetrainer1079
@donthetrainer1079 11 ай бұрын
thanks Jake. i thought it would be just that easy but all the screws i've bought won't clear the quick release plate cleanly and i really have to jam it into place to get the locking mechanism to engage. the size of the screw head is causing the problem. but thanks for the superfast response!! @@JakeSloan
