I think in reality go for whatever product gives you more stable footage, I’ll take a tired arm over losing a client any day! I’ve owned both for over a year and in conclusion the DJI is simply superior in every way. The only critique I have about the video is you did not mention the remotes for either system. They both have a way to attach a small thumb remote and that kinda makes your CON about the two person operation null for the Ronin M. Other than that solid info my dude! 🤙🏾

Hey great review, Jeremy! I have the Crane V2 with my a6300 and it seems to be such a popular setup. The a6300 is so light for the Ronin M but I imagine the quality is probably much better. I'll definitely consider renting it in the future. However, with a little bit of duck walking practice the Crane V2 has been pretty sweet to me 😂!

Hey thanks a lot, Matthew! For most people with mirrorless setups the Zhiyun Crane is more than appropriate. And with practice, you can for sure get beautiful shots.

Great review man. Really puts in context what you can do with which tool. I have been using the Ronin M for the last year and have been thinking of buying the zhiyun crane plus as the Ronin M gets very tiring after a while. My only question I guess is, since it's light can you use it for much longer actually without tiring yourself out and sweating lol? Also is the 1 hand design more or less straining on your arm?
@JeremyY6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! And yes, you can definitely use the Crane much longer without tiring and sweating. The one-hand design is less straining on your arm, but it's best to hold it with two arms. But in the end, I'd consider the Zhiyun Tech dual handles to be an essential purchase if you have a Crane. It just adds so much more stability and greatly reduces even the small amount of fatigue the Crane places on your hands.

they sell thumb controllers for the ronin
@JeremyY3 жыл бұрын
Yes they do... at the low, low price of $170 USD. $170 just so you can rotate and spin your gimbal. It's like DLC for video producers.

@@JeremyY yeah 😂, good way of putting it. I got my ronin m with thumb controller, remote, two batteries and case for $550 after I made the offer for $500 when he was asking $700 on eBay. Just gotta search around and wait for a good deal

should i get a crane v2 or ronin m because I can buy a used ronin for 400eur and zhiyun for 450eur?
@JeremyY6 жыл бұрын
That depends- what kind of camera are you flying on your gimbal, and what kind of videos do you create?

Jeremy Ying well i have a canon sl2 and I want to start to shoot weddings and stuff like that
@JeremyY6 жыл бұрын
Get a Zhiyun Crane. Weddings are all-day shoots, and you do not want to carry around a Ronin-M all day. As good as the Ronin-M is, it is exhausting to operate for more than a couple of hours. And also as a wedding videographer you'll have to move from location to location, which is trickier to do with the larger Ronin-M.

Ronin M has thousands of people complaining about their freshly bought and not working batteries. No Answer from Ronin, and they dont seem to give a F about peoples Pocket. seems to me like a big Scam. and to you Jeremy, NO the battery life of Ronin Is not Great! unfortunately no More trust in Ronin!
@JeremyY3 жыл бұрын
That's not a problem I've ever heard of or personally encountered. Not saying it doesn't happen, but never seen it myself. Because in every instance I've ever used the Ronin-M it's battery life was great. If that's happening to you and others I hope DJI fixes it. Because their gear is not cheap. I know how annoying it is to have a hardware malfunction on new equipment.

@@JeremyY i wish DJI would ever reply on one single comment on their OWN forums! they are a quick developing company and they dont really care about their costumers. i had nothing but bad experience with DJI. i tell you thu, They are investing Tons of money on ads and youtubers!
