I am using this with an iPhone 6s and it is amazing! For $139, give up a few things and buy it, you won't ever regret it. And if something happens where you have to sell it, hundreds are looking for a used one on Ebay, so you you will lose $40 for using it for months. Trust me, you won't sell it. Lastly, watch Part 1 and this video OVER & OVER, learn everything, repeat over and over, you will become one with this amazing video creation tool! Jason, you are the Best!

Despise the negative reviews and compatibilities, this gimbal paired perfectly with the mate 20 pro pie 9. No firmware upgrades, just downloaded the app before the package arrived, unboxed it, balanced it. Turned on the device and app, no matter what way around, paired it. Only downside is the limit of the record modes. I think im limited to 30 fps no matter the res. The nice thing I did notice, is that the telephoto lense auto activates when zooming in on distance targets. It's like they work together, without reason, its seamless, just like the phone itself. Love it, and it's time to furfill the dream of movie making. Always had a sniff for it, just didn't have the courage to put together something and post it. Tho I've had moments posting cringe worthy stuff. Strange that. When you wanna make something good, the bar is set beyond your comfort zone.

My sister just gave me her Zhiyun smooth 4. She’s had since 2017-2018 and didn’t have time to play with it. I take a lot of pictures and videos esp family vacations so I inherited her device lol. Still trying to figure out how to properly use this and these tutorials are really helpful!

I´m very impressed! Bought this today at Mediamarkt here in Storheden Luleå Sweden for 1290 SEK and that´s an amazing price for so much hi-tech! When I first opened the box the quality, finish and overall feel of the product was very satisfying, like a really proffessional product. Did not have time to read the manual but got it working with my Samsung A10 smartphone right away, this video explains a lot about all the features and functions of this gimbal/stabilizer. Looks like a great gimbal. I'm not sure why they advertise it as if it works for Android. I had the smooth q and the app didn't record video at all. I have a Samsung galaxy s7. I wound up returning it.

I have an s7 and it's not great with zoom and freaks out a bit. The cam features don't seem.to kick in. It also doesn't sit level on the horizon. Yet to test more before potentially sending back.

I ordered a Rode Videomic Go with my Smooth 4 to run with my Oneplus 6, which has a headphone jack. *_BUT,_* the Android app is missing so many of the IOS features that I might have to break down and buy my first ever Apple product just to get the most out of this gimbal. I believe iPhone 6 was the last model with a headphone jack. Which is good cause the price for those is around $250 all day long on eBay.

Thanks for this fast and clear review, it was a good first approach. I also have the Zhiyun Smooth Q and since I starting exploring my new equipment, the Smooth 4, I really missed 2 functions: the SELFIE mode (3 clicks on Mode Button for a 180º rotation) - to record myself or take shots with the main rear camera - and the JOYSTICK for doing Panoramas and/or Tilts. By what I've been reading and watching so far, I didn't find a way to do both (simple and very useful!) functions on this new "upgraded" guy. I hope someone can help me on this answering here or by an firmware upgrade, maybe. Cheers.

As for the selfie mode, it is very easy to achieve, there is a front-rear camera switch button on the left side of smooth 4 key panel, you click it and it will switch to front camera; As for taking pano photos, you can manually adjust certain shooting points.^_^
