The calibration method has also evolved considerably. It's very convenient to have a small touch panel monitor for setting. Moreover, it even acts as a sub monitor for the camera. Gimbal of this time of Zhiyun was really evolved!

With a A7iii, 24 1.4, ND var filter and small mic, after autocalibration i get motor settings into the 70+

Hey Josh I’m having trouble getting good results with my weebill 2. I’ve tried your settings and my camera is properly balanced. It’s strange but I get far better results with my first gen zhiyun crane I have recently updated the firmware on the gimbal and there is no improvement. It’s behaving like it’s smooth when I first start moving but any change indirection and it’s like there is no dead band and it moves really fast. It’s like as soon as I change direction it ignores the settings I’ve put in

We have this exact same issue. We quit using it until we can get a resolution to this. Coming from the Weebill-s and Crane 2 which are like butter, this thing sucks.

@@MontotoProductions I have sent mine back to zhiyun for repairs. It took a lot of back and forth to get to this point and I had to pay shipping to send it back but I will update you once they find out what as causing it

I am having the exact sma issues. When I try to hold it still it wobbles with my no matter how still I am. When I turn It abruptly begins the movement then smooths out throughout the movement. ALL MY FIITAGE HAS A ROLL WOBBLE, BAD.

im using a6400 and zeis 35mm 1.4, auto calibrate make the webill 2 vibrate and i customize the motor setting : pan - 15, roll -20, tilt -25. now problem solved.

I tried your settings and my gimble is perfectly balanced but it’s not smooth as I wish 😕 I see a little shake ( my own steps ) on my footage. I'm literally filming a wedding tomorrow. I use the a7SIII & my Zhiyun Weebil 2 just came in today. This video is a lifesaver. For real. Thank you man 🙏 Just curious, should I change any of the settings based on my gear? Sony a7sIII with Sony G Master 35mm 1.4 which is 1.55 lbs in total

Hey man! I would recommend to give your tilt and roll motor slightly more power. Probably 3-5 more and that should be fine :)

Thanks for your thorough video on the Weebil 2. So I've updated the firmware for both my Sony FX3 and the Weebil 2 (v1.84). I've tried connecting the camera to the gimbal many times to no avail. It keeps saying "check connected device" and I'm using the USB-C to USB-C cable. What's weird is that on the Weebil Lab and the Weebil 2s there is an option to choose which camera you'll be connecting to (Canon, Sony, Panasonic, etc) but on the Weebil 2 menu screen there is nothing that I can find of that sort. If you have a solution, that would be greatly appreciated because I would love to control my camera from the gimbal handle itself the way you have mentioned it here. Thank you in advance! These is a camera manufacturer setting in the phone app. Not sure why they don't have it on the flip out screen also.
