That is what I am saying. He is a good dance teacher. Very considerate, always smiling & think of ways to teach the trainees that best suit them. No wonder the trainees all listen to him. Tencent should seriously take him as Chuang2022 dance mentor next year. He is a good at mentoring.

It's just when they were practicing 'Radio', their trainers made them act out a break-up scene (to understand the feelings of the song) and they nailed it 😁😁 Keyu looked so heart-broken and Kepat ship was born. ☺️☺️

Yes, he must have been... but also, he must have become more gentler after Yummy. Avex's fault, tho. You remember in an interview Santa said that Avex had told him, it wasn't necessary to bring lots of clothes because he was coming home soon, because no one was going to vote for him, he was not going to get into Class A, he was NEVER going to sucessfully debut. Basically, he was told he was USELESS. I'm not sure if such a pressure is Avex's tough love. I think it's more a pure disregard of his ability and feelings than a tough love. I think Avex's just a jerk. With such a pressure, it must have been frustrating teaching the Yummy members. He wanted the team to do the best, to perform THEIR best so he really was being strict. After he got into Class A, cried from relief, later on knowing that he was loved and appreciated, I believe he got much more relaxed and gentle.❤️❤️🤗 Avex's jerk is my conclusion. Ha! 😗😗

@@lurveseunot the steps arent that difficult actually but for chuang's theme song, if you dont know the basics (like groove bounces etc.), then you might struggle or be offbeat while for ywy's theme song, you need alot of power and a little bit of basic popping.

I find Santa the better dancer BUT Riki is the better dance teacher. He just seem so friendly, always smiling & he thought of ways to teach the trainees according to their situation so they can learn it better. I heard he choreograph a lot of dance for Kpop idols before so no wonder he is a good dance teacher. If he made the group now they should hire him as dance mentor for Chuang2022. 💖

Santa more like working in small group of people that already good at dancing that's why he got little experience with teaching dance. And i think that's the reason why his first team performance got little bit trouble in teamwork cause riki and other he team up before are already good at it.

Because Riki is a choreographer and he has a lot of experience in training trainees and celebrities. Santa is a dancer who’s good competitions and free style battles, won several World Championship titles. Still Choreographer and Dancer are quite different actually.

Yummy team before going on stage still hugged and encouraged each other, and their relay dance was very fun, everyone smiling. I also saw another video of them practicing Yummy dance in front of other teams in the practice hall, and they did quite well, got a lot of cheers from other teams. Santa even did a flip before high note instead of a twirl like final stage. After they finished that practice, all Yummy team ran to hug each other quite happily. So there's definitely problem with editing regarding their team dynamic.

Riki's classes are so effective and helpful to other trainees to the point that at the final, when announcing RIki's rank, the MC introduced: "Many trainees said that the most valuable thing of Chuang 2021 is his classes". Sorry for long text, I just want to explain to everyone who might see these comment section in the future about Santa's abilities so people can appreciate him as a whole person more because the editing of the show made some people misunderstand him. By the way, in latest episode where they all had to learn the theme song. Riki taught class A while Santa taught class C of over 20 or around 30 people. I bet they also taught members of other classes when they have free time too. The show did show a short scene of Santa teaching different class members in the hall. The results of this was about half of Santa class C was able to move to higher classes. So it proved once more he's not an inexperienced or bad teacher, just a more serious and probably stricter teacher than Riki. I think it just gets down to the attitude of the "students". If they can leave their ego aside and try hard to learn, anyone having Riki or Santa teaching them to dance is lucky. They are so experienced they know exactly what basic things to teach you and what weaknesses you need to improve. And they both are so patient and nice to everyone.

I'm sure anyone with eyes can see that Riki is super talented and have dance skills way better than even some of the best idol dancers, including RISE members themselves. But RISE members work hard too to be where they are today. I'm sure Riki is famous in other countries for his talents and works he had done, but in China, RISE is his senior and Riki respected them as a "newbie" in the Chinese entertainment industry. As Riki's fan, you should too.

No, they were not rude to Riki, but at least 30% of the comments here feel that way and think that it's alright to be rude to them just because they said that Riki "is good enough to be a dance teacher". I don't see how this is rude, and I don't like the hate being thrown at them just to make Riki shine. Nobody is denying that Riki is the more talented dancer here.
