This is a 4 inch reflector on a small Dobsonian mount. It is nearly identical to the Orion Skyscanner with the only meaningful difference being the eyepieces. It is the lowest cost Newtonian with a parabolic mirror, which is vitally important. The cheaper Newtonian telescopes with the inferior spherical mirrors do not perform well. The Z100 is a good optical performer!
I am a retired Astronomy Professor. I do not make any money or benefit in any way from my recommendations. Unlike many KZbin reviewers, I am not an Amazon affiliate. I make nothing when you make a purchase. I purchased these scopes with my own money. Nothing was given to me.
