zico was one the most hated idols ever. since his debut he's been super criticized and hated on with everything he did (sometimes it was warranted though) and then when he managed to prove his talent after his solo album came out he's had antis hating on his success too.

I'm one of those people that disliked him (sans the hate comments). I wanted to avoid anything with him (which is kinda hard when you actually like Block B lol) until I heard some of his solo stuff, and then I had to admit that he's talented. I even have his music on my phone. I'm still not too fond of him because I'm stubborn but if I happen to listen to something by him and like it, I add it. This song is good 👍🏾

Natalija I disliked him because of a comment he made in the past. He apologized through his company but then went and did it again. So he was labeled as fake for me. I also saw him as trying too hard (and failing) to look like the bad boy. It didn't help that he later used a Confederate flag in his MV, so even when I wanted to ease up on my dislike, I was back at square one, rolling my eyes whenever he showed up.

Tatyana M. Yeah I'm a BBC and I love him with all my heart but Zico is such a try hard hip hop boy. He has done some really dumb and insensitive things in the past but these last 2 years he's lightened up on that kind of stuff. I'm hoping he's finally seen what he's done wrong and is moving on from that stuff. Other than the try hard stuff I don't think he's done anything causing major controversy

I think my favorite part of this song is how rather than hating on his haters, he is writing it from the perspective of the anti. He really highlights how nonsensical some antis can be. They hate him yet follow him

Many people speculated this song also about Seolhyun like what Danny said. Zico (and Seolhyun) was idol with most hate comment, Zico's debut welcomed by lots of hate and anti fans still bothering him eversince. He is indeed has lot to say. (+they broke up because anti, but even after they broke up, anti keep saying that they aren't so Zico was mad.)
