When jennie does solo activities she is her own label. She is not with yg anymore. Blackpink is but not jennie herself. Its different cause yg doesn’t control jennie solo stuff anymore. If she was still under yg this would probably never happen lol. The type of vocal here will also not be allow. Blackpink is 3rd gen 3.5gen to be exact. Then yg released treasure - 4th gen. Then yg released baby monster 5th gen. Don’t think it like blackpink is 3rd gen then baby monster came out is 4th. It took 7 years for baby monster to came out. Its takes awhile to create and form a group hence all those prior years of training when they were trainees

Zico is just a solid hit maker. No kpop artist with a brain in their head would say no to Zico [KOZ is Zico’s label, but he merged it with Hybe when he went into the military, now he is back he is running KOZ again].
