Man... I wish Zidane and Ronaldinho had played together once. The two most aesthetically pleasing players ever! Ronaldinho was full of creativity and had a special mix of speed and strenght, while Zidane was pure ball control and stunning technique. 2001 to 2006 was La Liga's golden era!

What a performance. Always moving, always influencing the game. Good passing, good close-control, vision, very calm on the ball. This is what most people who ''watch football'' fail to see, how much of an impact Zizou has for 90mins by just being on the pitch and having the ball at his feet. This is why I get joy from watching him and not someone like Cristiano ronaldo, who disappears for 80mins and then scores a goal. No disrespect to him, he is a great goalscorer, but I get no enjoyment from watching him.

Zidane was now settled in the team after a difficult start and showing his worth, while entertaining the Bernabeau against an excellent Valencia side. Good stuff 👍🏿
