Does anybody know if i can manually change an individual TV Episodes "Background Image" on the poster wall. ? Note im running a Zidoo Z2000 Pro media player Some selected TV background images created by Zidoo are either blurry or an extreme close up of an actor. Everthing else works flawlessly so far with the Zidoo Z2000 Pro (im loving it).

Does Zidoo allow for the creation of custom poster artwork? For example, I have many concert videos that had no commercial release (and hence no artwork in any database). I have created my own JPEG cover art. But can I add to Zidoo like I was able to with my Zappiti?

I think you can upload your own media, but I have not tried this myself

What are your zidoo video settings, I find my video is very dark, although my LG C1 has been calibrated. I am using a zidoo 1000z pro.

Just the standard settings. I havent had to change anything on the zidoo, everything looks fine for me.

You can use either one. One has some Chinese language throughout but is still useable, the other is in complete English but has a slightly different orientation. My suggestion would be to download both and see which one you like. They are both really good.

@@hatoraidcowboy Didn't work. With a single movie or tv show, the scraper offers a match and/or options. When I try to change a poster for a Collection, I'm not given that option.

As I keep upgrading my movie collection, I may end up with a 4k, Blu-ray, and maybe even a dvd copy of the same movie. Is there an easy way to delete the dvd & bluray versions of the same movie? ... I.E., it will actualy remove the movie from both the Zidoo and hard drive? The Zappiti was able to perform this function easily.

Personally I like that Zidoo gives you the option to have multiple versions with custom labels under one movie poster. I don't think Zappitti does this. It just gives you the option to have multiple posters with custom labels. As far as deleting files, I have prohibited either from deleting files, so not sure.

What are your thoughts on Zidoo beta firmware? I see they had v1.0.58 beta and now v1.0.65, but mainline has not been updated since July at v1.0.52 which is what I am running

How to identify one episode of a serie if that episode exists on IMDb but not on TMDB? I have that issue with “El Chapo” Season 1 Episode 8 and 9.

Sometimes you have to play around with the naming when you search. I’ve had this issue numerous times and most times I just had to type in the “correct” naming for the Zidoo to find it. Its a bit more time consuming.

@@hatoraidcowboy The strange here is the fact that it finds al episodes for all seasonscexcept this two that are the ones that are reconized by the IMDB but not by the TMDB. I wrote all of them the same way.

@manuelplb Yup. Same thing happened to me. Its weird. I’ve also had where the episode # and name on the box set is different from what imdb says. That happened to me with Seinfeld series. Like it aired that way and imdb is right, but the boxset has a different episode order so it throws everything off

Does Zidoo offer some kind of IR extender? Mine is at the back of the theater and sometimes using the remote is a challenge.

I dont think Zidoo has a self branded extender but you can probably find a universal one on amazon

I know my z2000 remote is IR and bluetooth, but out of the box the BT is not paired. After I did that once, works great without line of site using BT

I have the Zidoo Z9X Pro and try as hard as l can with settings but l can't get this player to do DTS HD MA from my Bluray rips does it support DTS HD MA my AV Receiver just says DTS HD all the time my last player Mede8er sent DTS HD MA to my AV Receivers display

@@hatoraidcowboy I get Dolby True HD fine but for some reason I can only get DTS HD to show on my AV Receivers display not DTS HD MA for some reason, got to be some setting that I have not tried but strange how I get Dolby True HD you would think I would not get that either, if my settings were wrong. I have tried both Zidoo HDMi Audio settings to Raw or Automatic both with same results just DTS HD

@@hatoraidcowboy Hi I just found out the Zidoo player is playing DTS-HD MA files ok, its Marantz, with the new cinema line AV Receivers they have shortened it to just DTS-HD, taken the MA off, bit strange of the company Marantz doing this

Hey bro, I have a question. I am finishing up my room. I had to redo my shelf that my projector is on so that it is more level. When I plugged my HDMI in I was longer getting a video source but I was still getting audio. Do you have an idea of what the issue could be? I am running a 50ft Ruipro c8k fiber Gen 3 cable. Last week it was working, this week after fixing my shelf and plugging it back up it isn't working. I tried the cable that I have connected to my cube as well still no signal. I put my Cube on my projector shelf with that cable and connected it straight to the projector. Still no video signal. Do you know what it could be? Thanks for your help.

If you’re using the same hdmi cable during troubleshooting then it might be the cable. I actually just had this happen this week with one of my hdmi’s I’ve had for years. The video cut out on me while I was using my blu ray player, but I was still getting audio. I would try another hdmi

@percybedford6266 It COULD be a bad hdmi port on the projector. You have the LS12000 now tho right? I doubt it would be the projector but it could be. Is there anything between the projector and your receiver? HDFury?

@@hatoraidcowboy I haven't hooked up the HD Fury yet. Was going to do it yesterday. I just had the HDMI in the output of the processor, and my Cube and blu ray player in the inputs of the processor. I wanted to get everything aligned first and then hook up the HD Fury. I am thinking it may be the cable. If this new cable works then we will know for sure. Yes I have the LS12000, so I am thinking the port on it still should be good.

Yes you can, in the Network setting, just disable DHCP Option and input your IP address manually and click save.
