Every element of this show, from Joe's handling to each player and character, is a joy to watch from the first second to the last. Creepy chills and riotous laughter in the same show, and neither negatively impacts the other. It is sublime perfection.

Iconoclasts is cool, but y'all should really play Star Chamber at some point. The PC Agents are are judging the actions of a previous team, and they alternate playing out what the previous characters did with their own characters' discussions of what they've learned. It has a nifty Rashomon element to it, since each witness tells the story a little differently. Each player gets tips on how to play their "past" character differently: "In your story, you're a heroic and loyal operative. In Agent Smith's story, you're a raging misogynist asshole drunk on your own authority." Etc. It's a ton of fun.

The happily former miss Ricci was starting to wonder whether taking her husband's name had been the right choice, as the incredulous pilot of their honeymoon flight read it aloud. "...Cumstone?" the pilot's tentative voice crackled in the loudspeaker. But little did she know that she would soon be evaluating her choice of husband as well, as Roger, unprompted, started proposing scenarios where both of the pilots were dead. She knew he was not going to be perfect; they had shared traumatic experiences before, together. But perhaps, she wondered, she did not know the half of Roger's trauma, as he started detailing every chunk of his helicopter pilot's splattered brain on an operation near Baghdad. Her brain had scarcely finished processing that thought, when Roger interjected with a new image of a comrade who had stepped on a landmine. She did not have the time to process everything that was unraveling, so she only caught his final reassurance: "...I think we'd be okay." She wasn't sure how to process this impossible scenario on one of the supposedly happiest days of her life, so she just snapped across the aisle at a woman who was staring at this odd couple of newlyweds. "You make me feel... SO safe." she told him, while thinking to herself "This is it. This is my life now. But first, this is my fucking honeymoon, and we're gonna enjoy it, even if it kills me."
